Not that I don't believe fighters could be paid off but that script was clearly bull****, the were talking about the audience booing and Fury getting an eye injury etc you couldn't be that specific when fixing a fight

I’ll watch it on YouTube later if Fury gives the YouTuber a beating

I don't think he'll be too bothered when he cashes his cheque he gets for this ballroom dancing contest.

I was concerned it was rugged to be a Paul win - I still think there was some rigging. Right for Fury to have won but he could have thrown a KO punch several times and didn't - he didn't mess up or miss the opportunity he blatantly made the choice not to - and at least twice it looked like he pulled his punches when he did make contact.

I reckon the plan on those early set up matches was to allow Paul to win and Fury has ended up backing out and refusing to do it - so they've settled on him not taking a dive, but on the condition that he let the fight go the distance. I think he could have had the KO but there's a shady under the table handshake somewhere saying he wouldn't.

Paul still mad significantly more money from this than Fury (millions) and will use it to set up more fights with non-boxers (i.e. KSI) and I also predict that it going the distance and the dodgy "split decision" will result in an eventual rematch. I think Fury will also win the rematch but there will be even more money involved. It's like WWE.

I don't know about that TS, I just don't think Tommy is a great boxer

I don't think he's a great boxer either but Paul (in ever fight he's in) frequently leaves himself wide open and Fury is well trained enough to not just "miss" those openings, I don't think he's incompetent, I genuinely feel like he ignored a few to prolong the fight. And at least one that did connect looked like it had nothing behind it, with no obvious reason for that.

I can also think of several reasons it would have been agreed for the fight to go to the end and that makes me automatically sus :joker:.

It wasn't even hard to watch this one without buying it, loads of dodgy TikTok livestreams were showing it :laugh:

Extra dodgy: I put £10 on Fury to get knocked down in the 8th @7/1... Because I saw a TikTok earlier saying the whole fight was scripted and that he would go down in the 8th. Maybe coincidence but I thought I'd give it a shot and that's exactly what happened :suspect:.

Though they also said Fury would be well ahead on points but then lose to a TKO because of an eye injury (setting up a rematch).

Edit: just rewatched the final round... While he didn't go out in a TKO, Fury did have damage to his eye! :oh: shenanigans, what are the chances of the pre-fight "leak" predicting both of those things? Hmmmm.

Fury was always going to be ahead on points he is a trained boxer, paul is a hit and hope guy

In boxing when you are down on points in the last round boxer go all out, do or die

All the way through the fight paul was dangerous with his head and that’s what caused the cut.

If you watch all of the (years long) build up to this you can practically see when and with whom contracts were signed... Tyson Fury went from "this is a joke and an embarrassment we'll disown him, he shouldn't even be considering this circus!" to "...Jake Paul is a good chap and a legit boxer this will be a great fight for Tommy :)" :joker:
