Police in Windsor, Ontario have located the suspect in an alleged sexual assault case that took place in a women’s shelter on April 4.

On April 18, Windsor Police put out a call to the public for information regarding a suspect after a female victim reported that she had been sexually assaulted while staying at a Windsor women’s shelter.

The argument now will be that it's "rare". By the time it becomes more than "rare" it'll just be normal.

One is far too many and it is only a matter of time before a violent partner murders his ex in a womens shelter let in by stupid people because he identifies as a woman

I'm sorry Oliver but I won't be calling this person a she , if you commit a crime especially sexual assault against a woman ... it's pretty insulting towards the victim to still call the predator 'she/ her' .

Too late, this is now a female crime statistic.

This person is as much a woman as any other transwoman, and I'm not the judge and judy as to who is really trans and who isn't.

If you was a woman and you were assaulted by a 'trans' 'woman ', wouldn't you find it insulting that they'd be considered the same biologically as you ?? when you've just been abused by them !?.

For starters this person is physically stronger than their victim. And has different organs !. Once you've committed rape ,I'm not respecting pronouns .

It’s appalling that this happened but let’s not ignore the underpinning train of thought from the transphobes who will use this like it happens a hundred times over everyday.

Yeah it's SO RARE yet it continues to happen ,hmm okayyy.

Women probably get assaulted by men more than 100 times over a day so it makes no difference to me if it's a man, or another man thinking hes a woman who does the assaulting.

I wonder if this was the uk wether he would put on the sex register like a normal bloke would for this crime.

Yes they can ...but this person is a biological man .

That's not what people are saying, but if you commit something as serious as rape / assault .....why should I still respect that person's pronouns??. Especially when it's clear alot of these predators are finding convenient loopholes to get to their victims, how many of them are genuinely trans !?.

If men pretending to be women were denied access to female only spaces this wouldn't be happening at all and wouldn't that be better all round

Predators are taking advantage of the system,they know all they have to do is put on a wig and say they're a woman and that's it.

I'm sure there was one having a tantrum about not being able to get into a women's only gym, why not just go to a gym in general??. Why does it have to be a 'women's only ' gym :suspect:.

It's rare for trans people to kill themselves but that hasn't stopped certain people from using it as a justification for allowing male-bodied people to make women's refuges, specifically set up as a place for women to feel safe (note: not just to BE safe, to FEEL safe) demonstrably less safe for women.

So apparently it's OK to pretend that rare things are common, so long as it fits one's own agenda.

There have been numerous examples posted on here over the last few months and -- importantly -- that's WITHOUT the wide-scale acceptance of easy self-ID that's being actively pushed for in the name of trans rights. It's a clear indication of a safeguarding problem that could be a much larger problem IF these pieces of legislation are allowed to change, and yet whenever people complain or point that out they're branded transphobic and told to keep quiet. It's nothing short of gaslighting.

I suppose we should just do away with things like enhanced disclosure documents for people working with vulnerable people and children, then? "Because people need to stop seeing all adults as predators".

That has been done away with already so certain boxes can be ticked in the workforce.

Glenn is the type of person ....when a shop is robbed and 5 bottle's of vodka and wine is stolen , he would then say ... "but what about all the other shops where they steal sweeties and bread" . I’m talking about people using very rare occurrences to push an agenda.

But in the process you choose to ignore the fact that just because something is "rare" doesn't mean that it should be swept aside when considering safeguarding concerns. Whether you mean it to or not, it simply comes across as not really giving a **** about women's safety in the name of "inclusivity".
