Candle in the wind is another that gets me going. It reminds me of our beautiful true Queen of hearts Diana. She should have been Queen.

Tears in Heaven

When you know the story behind it, it's difficult to stop yourself. Heartbreaking.

Great one that. Kazanne:wavey:

I love The Moody Blues work.
Of which Justin Hayward became very influential with when he joined them.
One of my Brother's had all their albums.

Justin Hayward is a songwriting genius.
This song just superb and sheer class.

I don't know about bawl, but these songs definitely make me feel more emotional than most songs.

And yes, I have weird taste.

GoldHeart 25-01-2025 11:46 PM

Johnny Cash- Hurt Has always been a powerful cover with such emotional sadness that you feel .

Find myself getting teary and moved , when singers also do memorable performances of a cover... which evokes such deep feelings and emotions.

Kellis on masked singer a while back when she sang Bonnie Raitt - I can't make you love me , but tbh Bonnie kills it aswell ... both versions are perfection . But Kelis' performance really hit me too.

Also Gabrielle's cover of Harry Styles - Falling was just wow  :bawling: .
