Honestly I think just the production of this series was the best.
How the producers came up with such evil twisted ideas was psychopathic.

BB6 for civilian. BB5, BB13 and BB7 are fantastic too.

The best. Nadia is also my favourite winner by a long shot.

I think Brian, Helen and Narinder were brilliant housemates but when I watched it I didn’t find it that great. It was probably better enjoyed live though so can understand why others hold it in higher regard. I think it was Marsh who told me you can’t really judge the early series’ fairly unless you viewed them live.

BB13 mid

BB at it's best. They nailed the casting and overall tone of the show.

Great cast, amazing tasks, good narrative.

The main things letting it down were that it was produced during the early 10s/TOWIE era and Brian Dowling was a poor main host and was better suited to the side show.

Yep, he's right about that, BB2 was the series that really made me love BB.

I've not seen BB5, none of it.

Was that the season with the woman who kept calling people "chicken"? And she fcked someone under the kitchen table?

That was BB5 and that was Michelle. It was also the season with the infamous "fight night"

My favourite year. Absolutely brilliant!

Michelle is an all time great housemate.

I've heard her name mentioned positively a lot, and I think she's been on BBLB and BOTS a fair bit?

If I finish the series I'm watching now before this year's BB starts, I might give BB5 a go.

It is one of the best seasons tbf

I realise it’s not feasible to repeat every episode of Bog Brother from the start but why don’t they show the best bits of each episode / series in order ..

It’s cheap TV and they’d get massive viewing figures I’m sure .

Like I said I've not seen it, but osmotically I know he was gobby, friends with Jason, and threw a tray?

He wasn’t perfect but some of that’s just part-and-parcel of the Big Brother house.

BB14 was boring

I liked Victor he was my favourite housemate from BB5. He was definitely one of the bigger characters from that year.

Yeah Jason was another intimidating bully boy who made my skin creep for some reason

My all time favourite BB series.

There was just something about it, the vibe/atmosphere of the group, the dynamics. I found every HM likable, I could imagine getting on with each one of them.

Some of the group really didn't like each other and there were big conflicts between them, but at the same time they would all have a lot of fun and a laugh with each other.

At the time my life was great too, so it's just so nostalgic for me now.

It doesn't seem like it was that long ago, so quite shocking whenever it dawns on me that it was almost 20 years ago.

If only bb20 was even close to being this good
