Teenage girl stabbed to death on school bus in Croydon
A teenage girl has been stabbed to death in Croydon, with another teenager arrested in connection with the incident.
Police and paramedics were called at 8.30am this morning to reports of a 15-year-old girl stabbed on Wellesley Road, near the Whitgift shopping centre. The Mirror reported that the incident occurred on a school bus. The road has been closed northbound between the Whitgift Centre and St Michael’s Road, with a number of buses on diversion. Videos posted on social media show a large police and ambulance presence near a bus stop. Chief Superintendent Andy Brittain, in charge of local policing, said: “Our immediate thoughts are with this young girl’s family who are facing the most tragic of news. Our officers are with the girl’s family to support them. “I am in contact with the local community, who are clearly as concerned as we are about this tragic incident. I shall continue to update them throughout the day. More follows on this breaking news story The Independent |

That's awful, so young

The Lad that Killed her
knew her, reported on LBC Live. Debate now |

Some London areas really need help. But sadly the problem is being ignored.

I just read a report that she was stabbed just after rejecting flowers from a boy she had dumped the day before. It really is scary for kids out there now
So sad for her family.....just awful |

I agree |
Absolutely harrowing for those people who witnessed it too - it seems he used a machete type blade

How evil and deranged would you have to be to do this to someone you purport to care about

What ever the reason - taking a life with a machete on a bus is horrific. Nothing she could have done or said warrants anything near to being stabbed. Just horrific. Two families have lost their children today - one to a brutal stabbing and one who will hopefully be locked up for a long time.

I’ll never understand why so many girls go for the ‘bad lads’ - it’s an age-old thing as well ..
It seems to usually end up badly … But like the women dating ManU’s Antony .. You only have to watch him on the pitch to see he’s tetchy and completely unpredictable and has a vicious temper . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Evil coward.

That's awful news.
We unfortunately do suffer with a Knife Epidemic, we need to find methods to mitigate this issue. |

But seriously, I don't get how some young men can't handle rejection? I don't know if it's because when I was younger I would normally be given more realistic goals that I haven't turned out like the Machete guy, or if there's something in the Water with younger generations, but I don't think that I can remember anyone when I was at School wielding around a Machete because a girl told him "no" or vice versa where a guy rejected a girl. It's really bizarre how society has gone in terms of relationships and sex. |

This is why people like Andrew Tate and his subjugation ideology movement is so dangerous.

What a tragic story….it’s frightening.
