Do you find Zak sexist?

Thoughts?

Niamh. 17-10-2023 08:55 PM

Yes

Vanessa 17-10-2023 08:57 PM

He's coming across horrendous!

AnnieK 17-10-2023 08:57 PM

He has certainly come across that way

I think he thought he was being funny but he just came across as a nob

Niamh. 17-10-2023 09:01 PM

It's just an odd way to joke around

Adamw92 17-10-2023 09:02 PM

Not really, no. I don’t think it’s that deep but he could do with toning down when he’s being a wind up.

3 women say yes, 1 man says no :p

jones89 17-10-2023 09:03 PM

Nah, he’s jokes. If the same kinda stuff was said to a man it would be all good. Maybe because men don’t take things so seriously, i dunno, but that’s what i think

Scarlett. 17-10-2023 09:03 PM

I think so, he tried to play it off as a joke, but I think he kind of meant it

 would be boring if we all agreed I suppose.

smudgie 17-10-2023 09:05 PM

Nah, but he is a big wind up.

Or maybe men don't face sexism on the same level as women....

GoldHeart 17-10-2023 09:07 PM

I got the impression he was being a wind up merchant , but he was acting far too silly tonight. He's made a target for himself. So i guess he's going home next.

I find it laughable though .... hm's talking about him being 'fake' &
'game plans' , when a few of them are playing up to the camera's themselves. They should look in the mirror.

Beso 17-10-2023 09:09 PM

He actually looks like sid the sexist, so yeah.

Swan 17-10-2023 09:11 PM

I mean, i doubt he's truly a sexist guy, he idolises his mother. I think he was a bit misunderstood with it. Trish didn't help by trying to make a huge thing straight away. But then they're saying they're like brother and sister and wind each other up. Who knows.

Strictly Jake 17-10-2023 09:13 PM

No I think he was joking. But he has a passive aggressive smile that I don't trust

The stuff he was saying to Noky while he was flirting with her was really weird

Jackywilsh10 17-10-2023 09:15 PM

Yes. And he’s boring. And he’s incredibly thick…

Jemal 17-10-2023 09:16 PM

He isn’t lol. This is part of the reason why Big Brother in 2023 is probably a bad idea

GoldHeart 17-10-2023 09:16 PM

I think Zak was just acting a bit like a tool , probably spent too much time around Paul.

Have people forgotten Paul is the vulgar one with a not so pretty background ??, notice how quiet he was tonight. yet he made little comments about Zak.

oh FFS both Paul & Tom are getting to the final by being dull as dishwater :bored:. Neither have contributed anything worthwhile ... apart from talking crap tonight.

I would have thought he was sexist in 2003 too

Agree

Redrose 17-10-2023 09:27 PM

He's making me feel uncomfortable. Dish but can't take it.

thesheriff443 17-10-2023 09:28 PM

Was this Zak’s attempt to get airtime after seeing others play up to the camera
If it was it’s backfired terribly

Either way ... the whole thing was unnecessary .

andybigbro 17-10-2023 09:30 PM

I thought it was uncomfortable when he was telling Noky to sit and holding her down.

Definitely but I don’t like Zak , I think he is a more animated version of paul

Crimson Dynamo 17-10-2023 09:30 PM

no

Someone who idolises his Mother like he does, gives you that impression over banter? Fair enough I guess

andybigbro 17-10-2023 09:33 PM

I think the idolised his mother argument is not very strong. He can love his mum and still be sexist towards other women.

I honestly think he's just a massive wind up ,and he jokes around too much. But tonight wasn't a good episode for him.

i think he might be a bit big headed with it .

Paul is the pig , he's just hiding it more... as he watches Zak crash and burn.

Tom is another weird one where he's boring AF, but he seems to enjoy the drama, he was trying to stir things with Jordan.

andybigbro 17-10-2023 09:40 PM

I’m not saying Zak is sexist, his behaviour was odd tonight. But I do think the argument that he loves his mum so can’t be sexist is flawed.

I mean I agree with that but the sample size or “evidence” for people making the decision that he’s sexist is pretty hilarious

It means he'll likely have a deep respect for women. After his mother being his hero!

BBDodge 17-10-2023 10:09 PM

He has a big ego.

I still prefer him over Paul the dustbin.

rusticgal 17-10-2023 10:36 PM

He can be quite patronising….I think we need to keep an eye on him. I have liked him so far but I think the more comfortable he gets his true colours might emerge.

Paul is a prat.

Northern Monkey 17-10-2023 10:40 PM

Well, i think everyone can be a little sexist at times, men and women. However, i don’t think he’s sexist in a malicious way, it all depends on context and intent. For me, he’s just a bellend who gets over excited.
