What is it with all this anti jew shit?

So you have a problem with some Jews. That does not mean that all Jews are Arab baby killer.

Political discussion is one thing but I just thought i had logged on to Combat 18's site.

Lauren 11-07-2007 02:59 PM

You Zionist!! *turns away dramatically*

Nah but I agree, it's a very closed state of mind to believe that one group of people can be tarnished with the same brush.

Strong word.......Me thinks me has walked in half way through a convo?

Lauren 12-07-2007 12:12 AM

"A strong view of jews" in a negative light is comparable to racism. Tarnishing one social group with one negative brush is not only amazingly stupid but also judgemental and unfounded.
It's one thing having a strong view of something, it's another to apply it globally.

Like Lauren said it is comparable to racism the way it has been talked about on this forum. Are you saying that it is ok to target a group of people and blame them for all the wrongs in the world?

Hitler had strong views on Jews, but meh, what of it.

Alot of people do have strong views on Jews. It's a fact of life and it happens as does homophobia.

First they came for the Socialists, and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me, and there was no one left
to speak up for me.

From a poem originally by Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

All things considered I am not suprised at all by your post.

Dr43%er 12-07-2007 10:48 AM

"Alot of people do have strong views on Jews. It's a fact of life and it happens as does homophobia. " Does it make it right?

There is a massive difference between arguing against the stance of a government against a group of peoples and blaming a race/religion "The Jews" for all the problems. You can no more do this than blame "The Blacks" for gun crime, the "gays" moral standards slipping and the "Muslims" for blowing stuff up. As, believe it or not, not all Muslims are terrorist as not all Jews are power hungry media mogul baby killers.

Spacebandit.

Like your quote. Martin Niemöller Some interesting stuff on him here.

I said that the member had strong views on Jewish people and I am not condoning Jewish hatred either.

I just said that he has strong views which he wishes to air on this site, just like with issues on racism, but as it can be discussed, it is delicate and if the member who brought up the subject of Jewish people, starts to edge towards Jewish hatred, which may offend, then that is a step to far.

I haven't said yet, my views on Jewish people.

Basically, I don't even have a view, as it doesn't interest myself one bit.

But the member who brought it up, does have.

I don't have "views" on one particular social group because I feel we're all different and unique. Grouping a race/religion together is suggesting they're all the same. I have views on humans.

When Emily Parr said the (N) word, this site debated the subject like mad. It was like everyone had a view on race.

The member who started this subject about "Jews", was edging towards hatred, and one of his threads was locked immediately.

I personally wouldn't treat a Jewish man or woman any differently from a Catholic person, let's say...

I agree with you Lauren on the issue

Nor are you condemning it - you are attempting to fudge the issue and sit on the fence.

The end result of enough people doing that in the past lead to Auschwitz and Treblinka and the rest of the murder factories.

rex3 12-07-2007 02:03 PM

I think your already know that I said that not all jews are ..... such as these orthodox jews and many other who i respect : -

http://nkusa.org/

But to call my racists (jews arent a race) or try to tarnish me with the same brush with the REAL fanatics like the HITLER supporters in germany. Stopping any one from critising the MAJORITY of Jewish political views in Israel.

For example my view is that Israel was created because the British government was pressured into making one, becuase of the Jewish Business men were gonna boycott the UK. HOW IS THAT ANTI-SEMETIC.

ITS NOT LIKE IM SAYING YOU Y*D or any other racist termonoloy......

Lauren 12-07-2007 02:16 PM

All Jewish businesmen are going to boycott the UK? See, thats the problem I find in your posts. You paint a negative picture of all Jews and don't accept that these are the minority, not the majority. Also, although Jews aren't a "race" as such, you're identifying one social group and presenting them in a negative light all around - this is comparable to racism.

easypeasy 12-07-2007 02:31 PM

Its nothing like racism, if a bunch of people want to be labelled together as having the same set of ethics or religious beliefs that comes through choice not through circumstance such as skin colour or sexual preference.
Are we not allowed to oppose other peoples beliefs in this country anymore?

I am not making judgements on the whole Jewish issue, because I personally have very little to say on the subject.

however..

In regards of what Hitler did to the Jews, well, Hitler was mad! When you have a mad-man ruling Germany at that time and a majority being brainwashed by him, then it just points out, how many German people were so weak minded.

What I should point out, with many weak-minded people,is, that sometimes, it is easier to side with the winning side, or group:wink: But a stronger minded individual or individuals who fight for fairness and don't look for winning sides, but make changes in a different way.

Regarding Auschwitz and Treblinka, i think you should look at what happened afterwards and upto the present day.

Many are too old to care or do much now.

Do people care today? Yes, but what can those do?

If stupidity sided with Hitler and I use the word "stupidity", as in regards to those who liked to follow that leader like Lambs to the slaughter, then the Lambs should have looked to their own minds instead.

If a power group or individual seems to rule, then you must use a very special type of attack to undermine their or his authority, the authority only brought about, by people-power.

I've seen that:rolleyes:

No-one said anything about not being allowed to oppose beliefs, but collectively applying a negative label/act to one social group is beyond "opposing beliefs".

Your are wording that paragraph wrongly.

"Some of your posts", should be worded, "Some of the posts"

Don't look at one thread which had only two posts within, which was locked before I made 1 single post in this thread which you started.

I am not sailing close to the wind, this is a debate, whether you like or dislike my posts is irrelivant.

but the point is judaism is a choice of lifestyle not a physical condition.

Lauren 12-07-2007 03:23 PM

Anyone born with a Jewish mother will always be Jewish whether they claim to be atheist or not. It's not a choice in a lot of cases and although it's not biological there are also instances in Israel where Jews would describe themselves as secular.

easypeasy 12-07-2007 03:27 PM

so it seems as though if people have no choice in being a jew the religion is just as extremist as Islam. so much for freedom of choice eh.

If your parents are catholic, you are born a catholic - if they baptise you it seals the deal, when you are able to make your own informed choice you may stop being a catholic

If your parents are christian, you are born a christian - when you are able to make your own informed choice you may stop being a christian

If your parents are jewish, you are born a jew - when you are able to make your own informed choice you may stop being a jew

and on and on with other religions

Pretty simple, to any reasoned person

the same as catholic doctrine and christian doctrine and islamic doctrine and buddhist doctrine - none actually accept you have permanently left the faith and all will welcome your return.

You decide
You make an informed choice about your belief

Not sorry to inform you that its not only the jews you have to blame on that one

Dr43%er 12-07-2007 03:48 PM

"Jewish Law dictates otherwise." But as they had left the Jewish faith would that law have any meaning to them?

Lauren 12-07-2007 03:51 PM

There's "blame" occurring in this discussion? Perhaps you can elaborate?
Secular people born in Christian countries aren't considered default Christians, yet in Israel you're Jew by default, even if you're secular.

rex3 12-07-2007 03:58 PM

for example take this woman who is jewish

She is jewish yet she doesnt belive in what the Majority of Jews (Zionists) believe in: -

Sorry but incorrect, the United Kingdom as with all other secular countries defaults the religion of a newborn to that of their parents, unless the parents specify otherwise.

You should perhaps re-read my use of the word "blame", as it is not aimed at an individual [namely you as I used it in response to you] but is used as a reasoning point as is common in the english language where it can be used to replace the phrase "at fault" in common vernacular.

Incidentally have you seen a birth certificate in Israel ?
There is a little box for you to fill in the religion of the newborn - and it is a standard certificate used by everyone

Exactly, what im saying is the Majority of Jews would obviously have there on POLITICS, such as CHRISTIANS, and MUSLIMS, would all have a GENERAL CONCENSUS on how things should be done POLITICALLY. I respect All jews I do not want the dead, i am not something out of Hitlers army, but the GENERALY CONCENSUS with the ZIONISTS is what I critisized.

by the way I differiantate between Zionists and Jews. The only reason I say Jews all the time, is becuase people DO NOT KNOW WHAT ZIONISTS mean, or even semetisim.

The thing that easypeasy highlights is that WERE NOT ALLOWED TO QUESTION THE JEWISH (MAJORITY) but were are allowed to question the CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM, why becuase of how the media treats sensativity around JEWISH ISSUES.

Islam and Christianity have been heavily bon barded through the decades.

with all due respect i think your thinking of the Halaucaust and Hitler every time some one mentions Jews. That is not the case. Im not even talking the History of Jews and all that.

Im talking about the General CONCENSUS current ZIONISTS have..
