My childhood memories are about to be wrecked by modern Californian tastes.

I know that GTA is a British made series, but it's no doubt going to be influenced by America's no plot, no character development, and zero edgy dialogue content.

I hope to be proven wrong about that, but I've seen too many modern American influenced stuff to know the best to hope for is a 7/10 Game, which is a dramatic come down from peak GTA imo.

It's about time we had the choice of a female lead too, it gives a whole new dynamic to the game.

We won't really know until we get a synopsis of the story.

Watch it not come out for another few years still, I get that they obviously want it to be perfect and make as much money from 5 as they possibly can, but a decade long wait is bizarre

If the drop is now I think Christmas 2024 at the VERY earliest is likely - but more likely 2025.

HOWEVER companies have successfully pulled off "surprise" drops in the past with announcement to release in less than a year.

They've sat on this for years and years and years. Rockstar are usually pretty decent about only showing something when it really is ready to come out the next year.

HIGHLY unlikely, probably £79.99 with a deluxe/premium edition that may be £100+

I'll eat my hat if they price a standard edition at £100.

Standard edition is going to be $150 in Aus, so i heard. So i reckon near £100 here.

Also, really hope this game has a Synthwave radio station.

Mostly excited about the death of fake map leaks tbh!

£100 For what could possibly be the worst GTA Game ever made? That sounds like daylight robbery from Rockstar.

And tbf, even if the Game is genuinely fantastic, £100 is still a rip-off.

$150 aussie dollars is £78.31, it'll most likely be £79.99 on the digital stores (which is becoming more common for AAA games already).

Maybe an £89.99 or £99.99 "ultimate edition" or whatever.

Probably get a physical copy for £69.99 in some supermarkets but A) it'll sell out fast and B) what luddite wants a physical disk in 2024, yuck.

I reckon October if 2024. Game spending globally "peaks" in November so for maximum sales they really want to release just before that "pre Christmas" window.

Trailer on December 5th.

November/December is the peak discount period with black friday and christmas sales. So it's not as simple as saying games are purchased for Christmas. For a new game, you want to be outwith that period because there is less competition from other vendors
