Channel Migrants to be given the right to Work
SkyNews Text:
[Under a Home Office scheme, Channel migrants have been given the right to work in sectors including care, construction and agriculture, The Daily Telegraph says.] https://liveblog.digitalimages.sky/l...5e60cb79e.jpeg |
What point is being made here? Is it that they're going to be working, instead of sponging?
|
so taking jobs from people who live here legally?
|
Good, let them earn and provide for themselves while their applications are being processed, that’ll stop the racists moaning about all the ‘handouts’ they supposedly get (it won’t)
|
At least they'll earn their keep.

I just hope they're entitled to national minimum wage and are not effectively in indentured servitude. |

Are you okay? |

They get more by coming here illegally than a disabled person born here I’m sure they will be given more handouts than a uk national in order to settle into life in the uk |

working without Tax. Some were filmed working on a Car Wash, for example. This New System is starting with 16,000 migrants, of Legal Working. At a lower wage. [Some 16,000 asylum seekers including Channel migrants have been quietly allowed to work in "shortage" sectors including care, construction and agriculture in a single year] |

Even people that lost their homes for no fault of their own were only given bed and breakfast some had to move a 100 miles away from original address to get that It’s disgusting that the uk can’t look after its own but are taking care of people the vast majority have no legal right to be in the country Those illegals give between 3 and five grand each to get on a boat when the average uk person could not show you a couple of hundred pounds |
https://www.gov.uk/government/public...bill-factsheet
From The Above Government Link: [To remove from the UK those with no right to be here, we will: confirm that the UK may remove people including criminals to a safe third country and declare as inadmissible those who come here from a country where they could have claimed asylum, so that they can also be removed to another safe country introduce expedited processes (including in detention) to allow rapid removal of those with no right to be here introduce a power to impose visa penalties on countries that do not cooperate on the removal of its nationals who do not have a right to be in the UK, ensure that compliance with the asylum or removal process without good reason must be considered in deciding whether to grant immigration bail] |
Among them, possibly rapists, murderers and thieves.
Working in care homes. How much lower can this 'government' sink... |

Good and about time.
Good decision if it comes about. |

Home Office
@ukhomeoffice · 3h Three suspected fraudulent immigration lawyers have been arrested in a Home Office raid. They are believed to be part of a company that supplied fake documents to enable foreign nationals to falsify asylum claims. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

We don't know who these people are, where they come from or anything about them. If you're happy to have them work, unchecked, in care homes looking after your loved ones, then maybe there should be a list of people who are okay with that. Me? It's hard enough getting decent care workers who have been checked.

The thousands of healthy , fighting age males that come here day after day , week after week don’t look the type to be working in care homes tbh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Yes this has been pointed out on TV and Radio Debates today. A Minister needs to Justify it. |

If they do turn out to be eligible for conscription you won't be able to get a flight out of the country, and they'd be paddling back to France in small boats. |

The UK has never looked after it's own, and that's why we have this constant fear of foreign men/invaders blasted into our eyeballs 24/7, because if people actually look to see at what this country has done to itself over the last 50 years, then serious questions would be asked. We've stripped it down to the bare bones for profiteers, and they've got us blaming some desperate brown guys in dinghies. The country is an absolute shithole, not because of asylum seekers, but because of neoliberal/right wing financial governance. |
