no, i don't think she is playing a game. She would get far more exposure from appearing on the show, the after party etc There is no way the public should be continuing to attack her for her appearance in this BB series. She is out, now leave her be

I see I missed a lot. Can't imagine anyone could be that awful with the smaller spotlight the shows enjoy now. It still gets mentioned in The Mail at least but only because of Kate's uncle I think carefully playing Captain Obvious with his "insider" information.

…if that was the case and someone was encouraging that ‘talking about’…then what would be the point unless they were engaging in it and enjoying bring a part in it…they wouldn’t be ‘hiding’ from it and effectively ‘cancelling themselves’ from public appearances …that wouldn’t make any sense at all…

…honestly I can imagine it, very much I can imagine it…and I don’t even do social media but it isn’t just social media, it’s an unavoidable thing to see some cruel stuff written…and I won’t exclude sites from that…

…behind a keyboard, it can be very big, very clever and very powerful…but the most big of all is very cruel and very unnecessary…

…that might work/have worked for Madonna but it doesn't work for everyone in every situation, we all know that…and Madonna and Ekin-Su aren’t comparable so there is no relevance, really…

I get what you mean.

But we also can't rule out the possibility of her feeling her Mental Health worsening either.

I think it's definitely good to have some paranoia (because a lot of Celebs are fake as ****,) but it doesn't mean that all of them are, so we should try to keep an open mind.

As I understand it the ‘saying’ is correct .. it applies to anything and anyone apparently.


The theory is that as time passes you remember the person or the name of the company but not the reason ..

…anyway, it all doesn’t look well in ITVBB…they’ve praised their housemate care pledge but so far it’s felt largely about words with far less substance …in only one civilian and one celebrity edition, there has been some very questionable carelessness …and they do again have to take some responsibility with Ekin-Su if this has created her to be emotionally fragile because they decide in the ‘hero and villain’ edits….

Well ITV does have Love Island, and did have The X Factor which was also quite cruel to it's contestants.

ITV seem to not be good with psychological care for their contestants.

…(…I’m not going to get too deeply into because I’m going out and don’t have the time…)…but it doesn’t equally apply because it doesn’t allow for context and specifics that fit the circumstance…it doesn’t allow for the very common and familiar of notoriety, for instance…’not all well known is well known favourably’ and that can harm careers and harm celebrity…no more so than in our present times of ‘cancel’….

…absolutely, they’re showing no progression in their care, Mock…and that’s very worrying to see atm in such early stages of their production of the show…

Hopefully Ekin Su's friends and family are keeping a close eye on her, to make sure that she's doing okay.

And I agree with you Ammi 100%, I mean they've managed Reality Shows for decades at this point, and they still can't make sure that the contestants are mentally okay post-Show.

The irony about celebrities is that they can be like a moth to flame. Give them the right tools and incentives and they may set themselves on fire for entertainment. Often these are fragile people in connection to their character whom are most pulled in by pursuit of seeking validation. That could be why some act out in the house in the first place is to get to that attention. Still, it can still be a rude awakening, no matter how that person may seem.

So people with the worst habits go for these platforms often for the immediate returns it can offer in character judgements. I have had my share of those cruel encounters in my very early past just being young, and outside of safety concerns, I think we tend to give what is said online far too much weight (especially in smaller scales) as it is a distorted way of dissecting experiences in real time.

It's also too irresistable to people with a particular personality set that if they read one thing, they must read it all... very bad idea, especially as there are also addicted individuals on the other end that happily feed off the same feedback loop. That's why it won't stop as soon as it starts. We haven't done a a good job at identifying those people early enough on to catch it before the habits start forming. So we haven't adjusted yet. Instead, people often sit by and watch it all burn like cheap entertainment. Society still thinks this is perfectly normal.

Maybe it is a very wise move she stopped it before it could spiral, at least on her end. I'll have a different opinion maybe once I catch up on the show.

Not watched the series but as they say fame comes with a price.

… I feel that all only has a ‘one view’ perspective, though… for me, that’s a perspective leaning toward and in favour of ‘victim blame’ as it diverts and dissolves online bullying behaviour and ‘internet hate’ which we all know are very present in our world of today….(…apologies for the brief aspect of this as I’m not great at typing on my phone ….)….

The only thing that pissed me off is when she lied about why she nominated Louis. He didn't want to go home. She should have just admitted it was a tactical nomination. Nothing wrong with that, it's a game.

I read that she was quite upset at how she was treated on Late and Live and the grilling she got, it is a shame that she doesn't want to appear, she was a great housemate, I hope is she is okay

I don't like Ekin Sue,didnt like her in LI I find her very attention seeking and false,I do hope she is ok, do I feel sorry for her ? not really, she acted as she did so should own it, this for me is attention seeking again as people will be more interested in why she isn't , there to those who are,the show gave her an opportunity to shine, no one is to blame AJ called her out as she was lying,so for me I do hope she takes some time out,hope shes ok,but this to me is attention seeking yet again. IF she is genuinely upset about it all stay out the media.

Her part in the show is over. People should be able to put it to one side and leave her alone if thats what she wants

Well, I am afraid I am less sympathetic. I am sure she got a lot of backlash on Social Media when she won LI because everyone knows that they only won because everyone loved Davide...she was manipulative on that.
Since then she has appeared on DOI where she sulked like a child when she wasn't achieving good marks. Then she is on CBB...desperate for airtime and desperate for fame. Its all sun and roses when it works in your favour...but as MM knows you start lying and twisting stories and manipulating situations to suit your own agenda, then its going to come back and bite you on the bum...and thats what she did during the CBB experience.
Sadly with this generation Social media is the be all and end all...its sick. Im sure she has made loads of money since LI..more than any of us dream about.
Go and enjoy it and just use Social Media to chat with your friends and family.

I still see her marrying a very wealthy guy somewhere down the line .. I get the feeling that her ultimate target is ££££££££
