What is the greatest gift God has given to the earth's occupants.

Apart from oxygen.

I don't want to be picky but I would say we found and invented music ourselves. Also dogs I would class as an earth occupier.

Just from a practical point of view, water is a must

It's actually not if you run the odds through it.

I mean we can sort of see the creation of the universe. We’ve yet to see the make believe man in the sky

Whatever the origin of the creation of everything was, I don't believe our brains are able to comprehend it. All I know is that I definitely don't believe that any of the religions are accurate, they're all man made and so clearly "of there time" and reek of controlling the masses through fear and restriction. I do understand peoples need to make sense of life and to hope we go on after we die but tbh I think that need and want is the only reason religions have endured for so long

***Just my opinion......

Crimson Dynamo 17-09-2024 01:33 PM

Every picture we have ever seen of our Milky Way from afar has been fake

It is aways an approximation of how we believe it looks

Religion was originally used to do the opposite

It was to stop murder, invasions etc and allow people to live harmoniously so that agriculture and building and civilizations could prosper

"By including ever-watchful ancestors, spirits and gods in the social realm, humans discovered an effective strategy for restraining selfishness and building more cooperative groups"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolut...tural%20agents.

There is a brilliant chapter on this in the excellent book Sapiens

Still a man made concept to control the masses though and it certainly was used the way I said also
