Is Lily mature enough to be in the house?

I just don’t see it with her. I’d nominate her up for eviction for her own good.

Mrluvaluva 16-10-2024 01:46 AM

She's obviously not mature. She gets into sulks etc. Sometimes she behaves like a petulant child. She's on an emotional rollercoaster. I think she's living her best life though. I think this experience will be a great learning curve for her.

Redway 16-10-2024 01:53 AM

She essentially needs a collective of Martha, Ali and our Ammi to mother and guide her through it all.

GlitterUK 16-10-2024 02:27 AM

I am hoping we can see Lily grow in the house. I hope she comes out a more mature Lily that what we saw at the start.

thesheriff443 16-10-2024 02:27 AM

You have to be at least 18 and pass the pych test having done both I’d say yes she is

thesheriff443 16-10-2024 02:29 AM

Remember when glen cooked an egg for the first time on the show

If she goes tomorrow now then there’s not going to be time for Lily to evolve and grow in there.

I don't believe she is 20. She acts like a 12 year old and looks like a 12 year old. I'm strongly disappointed BB production put her in

Every single one of the BB7 lot passed the psych.-competency test but just look at Shabhaz. Look at Nikki Grahame. It was Looney Tunes ignite that year.

Ammi 16-10-2024 05:28 AM

…I thought it was quite sad to hear her say to Ali that if only all of the housemates were an Ali…as if she she isn’t used to being around people and their differences and their uniqueness etc …and more hmmmmmm, I don’t know how to explain it …more connects with people in terms of how comforting they are with her…and yeah, that’s very childlike, isn’t it…it feels like she’s been very protected in her life and then a huge culture shock of a reality show and a blend of complete strangers who are also trying to adjust to that ‘shock’…. but they also seem to be a good house group for Lily in their caring and tolerance etc…hopefully Lily will learn her own tolerance toward others and some understanding of the space of others as well…

Being immature is very different to being mentally fit for the show plus the show can make a mentally strong person question themselves

bots 16-10-2024 07:19 AM

lily looks up to Ali because she sees her as being successful with a good job. It's not an unreasonable position for someone like lily to take.

It seems to me lily has been surrounded by low achievers the majority of her life. She simply doesn't know any better. What you see from lily is someone who thinks she is street smart but really isn't, and is in fact completely unprepared to deal with anyone outside of her social circle. I find it quite sad really, that everyone attacks and puts her down. She needs to be encouraged to open her eyes and see the possibilities that could exist for her if she makes the right decisions

Crimson Dynamo 16-10-2024 07:43 AM

She is the maître d in a busy exotic food restaurant so yes she is mature enough

Slight exaggeration ( quelle surprise )

::::::;;

What does Lily from Big Brother do as a job?

Lily works at her local Chinese takeaway in Warrington, and ‘loves’ getting all the free food she can when she’s there (particularly salt and pepper chicken!). ‘I plan to work there for the rest of my life,’ she said.

I still think she's interesting and want her to stay. But she needs to show more consideration towards the others.

Crimson Dynamo 16-10-2024 09:50 AM

Ali is proving to be the most immature housemate in there

I have to agree with that. I find her very cold and calculating.

Like I said, you’d be a great mum-figure to her, Ammi. Genuinely. You’d show her the way.

……that’s sweet to say, Red…but I doubt that I’d show her the way to the kitchen, that door would be a no go zone……

UserSince2005 16-10-2024 02:14 PM

she needs a smacked bum

GoldHeart 16-10-2024 07:35 PM

No
But she's deliberately behaving even more spoilt and bratty, she actually doesn't care that her rule breaks affect the whole house. She's more bothered about herself.

BB should make her face eviction every week or remove her rights to nominate. She has zero manners and is far too childish .

Again, you’re talking cheeky beggars (even if you’re low-key right this time). Get out.

I wish we could nominate you out of this forum.

She is.

Ammi 17-10-2024 06:12 AM

…I guess that people can be ‘not mature’ in different ways because they’ve had very limited/restricted experience in their lives but the beauty of BB and the dynamics of a diverse group is watching the housemates grow …what they call a ‘journey’ I guess…atm with Lily…?…I feel that she’s still being the same Lily…(…I know it’s still early days…)…but there are a few housemates that she has dependency in that have become those ‘surrogate parent’ characters for her to enable her to avoid growing, I guess is the way to think…that’s not good in many ways…I know that she’s out of her comfort zone but they all are and I’d like to see her becoming more and more socially confident through her experience and considerate of others around her and what their struggles are etc…

GlitterUK 17-10-2024 01:23 PM

It is a worry whether the fame will be a good or bad thing for her.

Has she ever been told that picking her nose etc is gross/unhygienic etc?
Has she even been shown the correct way to prep foods etc?

Feels like she needs someone to take her under her wing and show her some basics about living in a shared house.

Crimson Dynamo 17-10-2024 01:42 PM

Mind you, a chippy that does Chinese probably is exotic to LT.
