Thomas

I don't get why people don't like Thomas. He actively puts everything into the tasks, he engages well with all the other hm's, he is just stable enough remain calm when it's all kicking off around him. I think there is lots to admire in the guy. Also, i think he is the same age as Lily, which for me shows just how good he is

I don't dislike him.

He's a bit too 'normal' for Big Brother.

He's someone you would get on well with in real life probably. He's non offensive.

Unfortunately, he hasn't provided much to the house. Bigger personalities are over shadowering him.

I wish he had stuck up for himself a bit more with Hannah.

For me I just find him a bit dull.

Plus I would've liked to have heard why he really supports Trump, as I do value honesty when people share their views.

This.

He clearly wanted to say more to defend himself, but he chickened out.

Not sure he likes confrontation.

Probably lacks confidence.

Maybe.

I know that he is quite young tbf, if he could read my post I would honestly advise him to not take people talking to him like that.

bots 18-10-2024 07:58 AM

I don't think someone is lacking confidence when the don't get sucked in to confrontation. Most people know how to de-escalate situations, and i think it is a strength to be able to do that in a goldfish bowl

Yes he does make an effort
at the age of 20.

And Lilly at the age of 20
is tragic.

Jessica. 18-10-2024 08:23 AM

Not entertaining yet but maybe it's the edit

This proves my point about him yesterday.

People still have a breaking point if they don't like getting sucked into confrontation.

MTVN 18-10-2024 08:48 AM

I like Hanah but I actually thought her rant at Thomas was really ott and uncalled for

She was talking to him like he was trash.

If I was in his shoes I honestly would not have stood for that.

I'd probably agree if they weren't mid challenge. As it is, I think did the right thing in letting it slide.

Niamh. 18-10-2024 09:07 AM

I don't dislike him, he's just not been shown enough

GlitterUK 18-10-2024 05:10 PM

I like Thomas and have done since day 1. You see more of him at night on the live feed, How they can have Thomas standing on a task for 12 hours yet fail to show ANY of it is biased.

I can't say he is being edited unfairly as they are just not showing anything. You see Thomas laughing and joking around on the live feed and mixing with quite a few other people yet NONE of it makes the highlights.

On the first night he was a big character and had lots of one liners and wit but BB don't want to show him for some reason.

Me neither. Yet he did. I don't know sometimes whether it's better to stand your ground or just let it be. Depends on the situation. In most situations I'm the former. :joker:

He was going to jeopardise the task by throwing sh1t Nathan
He should have waited until the task was over if wanted to throw it .

rusticgal 18-10-2024 05:24 PM

He’s just drifting under the radar….

GlitterUK 18-10-2024 05:25 PM

He is like Lily in that way just wants to have a bit of fun. If Hanah reacts every time he tries to have fun no wonder he looks down sometimes. Would Hanah have called out Lily for doing the same or just in her DR rants?

GoldHeart 18-10-2024 05:57 PM

Thomas seems to be showing more of his personality now ,and I think people forget he was also fuming that he had to stay up all night in the police task . But Izaaz is the one being called out by his housemates.

Yeah good point

Benjamin 18-10-2024 06:00 PM

He’s dull, and lacking any real personality. Will prob be a fave of Facebook mums and end up winning.

He's not winning,we all know Nathan & Lily will be the final 2 yawn yawn  .

I wouldn’t rule out Thomas.

BBXX 18-10-2024 06:34 PM

Thomas seems like a nice guy. I just find him incredibly dull to watch.

Adamw92 18-10-2024 07:00 PM

I don’t dislike Thomas but I feel like outside of the tasks he doesn’t add anything. He’s had the odd moment where I think he has potential to be a good housemate and then he just vanishes for like 3 days…

GoldHeart 18-10-2024 07:52 PM

He seems to be piping up a bit , would have been entertaining if he got to throw mud . Him calling Nathan a " wanker" was fairly amusing as well.

Absolutely correct and he did the right thing in capitulating to Hanah's vehemence.... which was correct also, as it could have resulted in the task descending into a mud-slinging disaster.

I wanted the mud slinging :fist: , would have been funny . And Nathan's smug face needed taking down a peg.

GlitterUK 18-10-2024 10:52 PM

I agree a good mud battle would have been good.

Benjamin 18-10-2024 10:53 PM

It’s been 2 weeks now and everyone (including Segun) has done at least one memorable thing apart from Thomas.

GlitterUK 18-10-2024 10:55 PM

Thomas has, they just don't make the highlights.

I wonder what would happen if everyone started doing the Lily eeeeeeeeeeee thing, Maybe then she would see how annoying it was.

Airing one's confidence is overrated. Too much of that and it would be like living amongst a cast of Trumps and Perezs.

I was very amused when Thomas was like "uhh... okk?". Then he had this incredulous smile on his face that was wtfh... that was a moment for me

If he could just find himself in more inconvenient places and times more often, then I think he could be someone to watch. Imagine someone actually manages to get an angry reaction out of Thomas, then you know they've ****ed up...

I would like to think that I could let it slide if someone put their point across respectfully.

But Hanah's way of saying it would piss me off.
