Ali finished with 51.9% of the vote out of all votes to win

That’s more than the votes of all 8 of other the housemates combined.

Zizu 15-11-2024 10:57 PM

Hypothetical split

1st 51.9%
2nd 17.1%
3rd 11.0%
4th 8.0%
5th 5.0%
6th 2.0%
7th 2.0%
8th 2.0%
9th 1.0%

Would give Ali a 75% win out of 2.

I want the official figures!

They didn’t give us the final split like last year which was annoying.

Predictable end sadly.

Yep unfortunately. But roll on The traitors, hopefully that's a good series to return :fc: .

That’s so close between the top 2, Ali fans tipped it using second phones

ITV need to be less love island I think setting up and telling the housemates what to do. - Ali said they told them to dance, have fun, its the last night etc. Stop setting up the scene BB!

Segun also said he also proposed to Ali and Lily I think he said.
Stop meddling.

joeysteele 16-11-2024 12:06 AM

Good one with only the 5 app votes each to cast rather than votes from landlines and mobiles as much as you wanted to or could.

That's nearly 3 times the votes Ali got here over the second placed housemate.
That's impressive indeed.

Tbf, BB has always made the final episode with the intention of it being a feel good factor.

Marcello and Ali did some ad-lib though.

That’s an incredible landslide. I wouldn’t have expected it based on the amount of hate Ali receives online.

She was only really HATED on THIS forum

The other places mirrored the voting with Ali being the fans favourite

I just think a few big characters took it on themselves to hate bigtime on Ali and then the other , easily led ones , just followed suit and basically jumped on the bandwagon

Safely in numbers- it happens in all walks of life

Unfortunately that’s not true Zizu! I’ve spent most of my BB fan time over on Reddit, and I’ve been browsing all the other platforms just to have an idea of general opinion - there’s been an enormous amount of vitriol directed at her everywhere.

However still on all of those platforms (including here) Ali was significantly leading the polls, so I can only assume it’s a very vocal minority who hate her and therefore it seems like it’s the dominant view. I don’t know that it’s a small minority though…

She was top of all the places I frequented …

As in here though you get a loud minority making all the noise

The polls , bookies odds , the actual voting plus all the fans cheering tell the real story

All pretty conclusive

That’s what I mean, she was topping the polls, but the comments and posts were just full of vitriol against her. (Which is the same here - so I was just pointing out that this forum isn’t an anomaly)

Vanessa 16-11-2024 05:40 AM

I voted for her to stop Marcello winning

Ammi 16-11-2024 05:48 AM

…that’s an incredible win…I mean, I know it was said that there wasn’t any doubt…but there wasn’t any doubt, was there…the other housemate/finalists were for the numbers and the body count etc…

That woman obviously didn’t watch the interview

Ali was actually the most popular housemate on here by some way. Yes a lot of people were vocally against her too but if you're an Ali fan you should take that as a compliment tbh because it shows how important she was to the series

jamiewordsley 16-11-2024 07:18 AM

Was it confirmed she got 51.9% out of the final 8/6 or H2H with the 2nd place.?

They said out of all the votes to win, so it’s out of 9.

Tbf DS only had Ali on 38% to win on their poll.

And in the actual vote there were 48.1% that didn't vote for Ali, and she was the kind of Housemate that you either loved or hated (except for myself as I was more in the middle) but I'm guessing that most of that 48.1% weren't keen on her, which is a lot of people not to like you.

I mean even out of 6 HMs 48% being the minority is insane. Usually where there are multiple people in a vote a winner wins even where there are still more people who didn't want them to win that did. In this case that is not the case. Amazing.

Oh, I'm not denying that her vote is incredible out of 9 people to be polling such a large percentage, because that would be sour grapes to deny that.

I'm just saying to Zizu that Ali's detraction base is a bit bigger than he might be thinking.

Oh I agree, in terms of posts across forums I saw more negative stuff towards Ali than positive, yet all polls said differently, which I found odd and which why I wasn't confident she would win, because she had a lot of people disliking her from the optics of threads and posts. Even on this site, there were only a few people speaking positively about her compared to those not yet the poll aways had Ali at the top. Weird!

Surely getting 38% with ALL the rest sharing 62% is impressive !?!

The others averaged about 5%

Wasn't my first choice but was definitely a worthy winner out of the last 8 or 9

MTVN 16-11-2024 09:13 AM

Ali - 51.9%
Marcello - 48.1%

Within the margin of error

Delulu, she bent marshmallow over and you know it:

joeysteele 16-11-2024 10:47 AM

They said she had 51.9% out of the 9 that were left.
What the final tally is between her and Marcello we don't know.
Or have I missed the publication of that.

However I'd doubt he'd pick up every single vote of the other 7 housemates who were placed lower.
While hers never moved.
Plus if it was only 51.9 to Marcello 48.1.
Then they'd have been saying repeatedly the vote was getting very close.
However it was never indicated the vote was closed never mind very close.

They haven't published the Ali V Marcello figure. I think the 51.9% figure was out of Six, since Friday's voting opened?

It was out of 9. As the vote to win started with 9 of them as was never reset.

bots 16-11-2024 11:44 AM

Being realistic, it is between the top 2 for vote share, because they were the ones with multiple opportunities to vote

She didn’t get 51.9% of the vote between her and Marcello, she got 51.9% of the Vote to Win since last Friday, out of all 9 housemates.

Tbh from what I saw she was equally polarising across all platforms. She had a lot of fans but also a lot of people who thought she was evil incarnate, I'm just glad her fans managed to come through in the end.

I think a big part of it was that her fans were focused on her (as were Lily's, who also had a sizeable fanbase), the votes from the people who disliked her were scattered.
