Now, this doesn't mean I like HOW she played it, I dislike HMs that play the audience rather than playing the house, but I admire her ability to target a demographic out there and pander to them so hard and and convince them that she is a cause to fight for.

She identified the perfect gameplan and in the end it carried her through... Not in that house, I don't mean that because that was a disaster for her, but in the manipulation of the X/Reddit crowd.

Sadly, I think now it's been seen though this is the end of BB as we know it... From here on in it'll be about WHAT you are not WHO you are to win. The winner won't be who was a great HM, it'll be whoever represents that year's current thing worthy cause, because that's who the XReddit crowd will flock to. I think that's a shame, because I will miss whatever remained of the old BB.

But, yep, no hate to Ali, she might not have played the game I wanted to see played in the show and might have manipulated and misled the audience to 90k but as heists go... It wasn't bad.

It was pretty obvious what she was doing throughout. She fooled the housemates but I just can't understand how the public like her. It's a weird cult-like following.

You talk alot of sense , Ali knew exactly what she was doing. And the moment Lily got evicted it was inevitable that it would lead to her winning.

I wish a housemate would win for who they are , rather than identity politics. Unfortunately as you say ..this will just continue.

Ali manipulated her way to winning. And she might aswell thank Lily , Khaled & Marcello for helping her get there .

Yes and that's with only the app voting not how it used to be where we voted unlimited amounts on our phones.
This was only from app votes of 5 votes each.

I mean tbf it was only a few people voting for her each time.

She was so cold and manipulative throughout, but instead of clocking onto her behaviour or calling it out they all sort of went along with it and made nice, bar a few moments from Khaled and Marcello. Even then, every disagreement had to be concluded on Ali's terms. You can tell she was a nightmare in those situations, pure arrogance.

If I was them I would have shone a light on her behaviour a lot more. That's what I mean when I said they were fooled because they kept trying to stay on her good side, even suggesting that she was a "nice person".

If they rewatch the show I guarantee you most of the house won't be in contact with her again when they see the venom she was spewing.

She painted herself the victim and the public and her cultists fell for it. It's the world we live in I guess.

If you think people out there were not racking up fake votes on multiple accounts then I am not sure what to say to you.

Yeah I don't think many housemates are staying in contact with her , and I don't blame them.

The way she treated Khaled was grotesque , especially when he was such a gentleman towards her and

For us it was just a game and we probably won't even talk about this season ever again after tonight, but for the cultists it was a feckin CRUSADE :joker:

You could vote from landlines plus any mobile phones you had too.

The difference being you could vote continuously, as many times as you wanted to or could afford to,not just 5 times, that MUST make a considerable difference.

It's actually scary like end of the world mentality or something :joker::umm2: . The result wasn't even a shock ,as I predicted her winning ages ago. I should have put a bet on it , that's how sure & obvious it was.

I made a mistake when I saw this thread, I thought it was a congratulatory one to the winner.

Look, it was a fun enough season and I had a good time. It's really not any more emotional to me than that... though I do honestly feel bad about the shift in BB that it really (IMO) means. but, that's a conversation for adults on another night. It's clearly too early for it right now.

She painted Khaled as fake for weeks, realised he was popular, back tracked, and then pretended to defend him when others started jumping on the bandwagon to make herself look good. It was so transparent.

Kept banging on about the "patriarchy" in the house and how she was at the bottom, when none of that was true. Enabled awful behaviour from Lily and Dean, fed their heads with bs with her constant b1tching. Lied to Emma. Tried to paint BP as a mean girl. Didn't like Sarah. Consistently played the victim, accusing others of what she was doing, etc..

I don't think she really liked anyone, just made alliances to get by when her closest people were being picked off. But hey, fair play it worked. I just didn't think the public would be fooled by her psychobabble, use of buzzwords, identity politics and t-shirts.

Nah, I am done with BB the minute I know who the winner is... No matter who it is.

I don't care about the show past that in all honesty. It's just a game that I like to play as a viewer :)
