…I had a mince pie yesterday…I mean, I don’t even like mince pies very much but I felt the need for a sugar fix for an energy burst and someone offered me a mince pie so I said yes, please…

Never really watched Jason Statham films. When I tried once his accent put me off but now I keep hearing people saying he's the best action hero of our time so I'll give him another go!

Has he ever been in a real good film though ?

IMDB reckons his best film is Crank ( 2006) rated at 6.9 ..

Watch Snatch, a lot of his films are action cheese but Snatch is great

He has a cockney accent in everything. Don't hold your breath for anything more. I mean, his films are generally decent romps but he's a bit of a one-trick pony. In my opinion, of course.

I don't mind him, but he's the bloke from Snatch in everything.

Although I remember wimpy Adrien Brody playing a tough guy in an all action movie - one of the funniest things I have ever seen

But I mean I was comparing to 80s/90's Action Movie stars like Arnie and Sly, they did the same things in every film too basically but that's what Action stars were back then, I think Jason Stathom is the last of that breed

Isn't Liam Neeson doing the same thing now,I swear all his moves seem to be him hunting down ' bad guys' , usually weapons & fight scenes involved.

And Steven Seagal is the mayor of the same action movie rinse and repeat, I always found him so boring :sleep: .

I haven't seen his Films so I can't speak to the quality of them.

But in his defense, snobby elitists (which there're a lot of Movie Buffs that are snobby elitists) are never going to judge a Jason Statham Movie on it's own merits.

I confess that I got back on the weed this Christmas.

What I learned is that it makes me eat less and sh!t more.

Being off the smoke, I was a one sh!t a day man. It's been two or three since I had a little smoke of the funny stuff.

I'm so apathetic towards everything now. I think I'm emotionally retarded at this point. :laugh: The emojis comes closer to feeling human than I do.

I have lost most of my passion for Football.

The only thing that keeps me going with the sport is following Blues.:laugh:

Oh and I'm largely out of the Japanese Anime scene these days, I dislike 90% of Anime that I watch.

Oh gosh I think I may be feeling like this too. But it's more with online interactions I think than actual life.

I still enjoy Video Games to some degree, although not as much as I used to.

I am really into my Music at the moment, I don't love every Album that I listen to, but in general I am enjoying the medium.

And I'm really liking my Movies at the moment.

I don't know what's exactly going on with me at the moment, but I have definitely changed a fair bit over the last year.

Same! :joker: I miss when life was simpler. It might not have been markedly better, but at least I could enjoy the little moments where I could.

Nowadays work just feels like a hell away from hell.

…do you think it could be a lack of sunlight/daylight…that in the shorter daylight hours at this time of year, all there is, is work etc and that it could indicate a deficiency in your body that could be addressed…?…

Ok. Well maybe change is not necessarily a bad thing. It could be a transitional period to something even better. It's normal to outgrow stuff I think
