Yass! I'm on the way! My train was cancelled and they only announced it last minute so I had to leg it to the other platform to get the next one 4 minuted later!! Eek.

We've arrived! In Wetherspoons having jacket potatoes with cheese and salad.

At the hotel. The venue is literally across the road. It's perfect. We'll be back less than 10 minutes after watching the show.

I do similar things to you. My next trip is to the town/village where they filmed Last of the Summer wine (near Huddersfield) I'll be going to Nora Batty's house and to the cafe for a cup of tea and a sticky bun. A Compo special.

Last year I went to Hadfield, which is better known as Royston Vasey, where the League of Gentlemen was filmed.

Maryhill is Glasgow is on my radar to visit. To see the locations of Still Game.

I also plan to go to the locations of Dad's Army and The Detectorists, eventually.

Back at the hotel now. Long day but so very worth it. Great experience, lots of fun. Fantastic performances. The atmosphere was electric. Will definitely go again next year.
