Jojo is a bit shallow as well.

Sucker punching the man who gave her 2nd pick in the game show room. So easily forgotten because of silly words. Totally unable to accept his ways.

He did walk away when she was trying to explain the modern world to him though, so perhaps it was more down to his rudeness.

Still, it was an easy cop out, and if she had more depth would perhaps have realised she had an ally.

Crimson Dynamo 09-04-2025 09:11 PM

I'd imagine 4th boot . About when the coward housemates like Chris feel it's ok to nom her and not get hated by the yoof

Glenn. 09-04-2025 09:15 PM

Homophobe insults and creeps on young girl.

He’s the victim.

Make it make sense

She's 21, and could easily have spent 4 years in the army by now, or had 2 kids if that is what she liked.

A young girl is 14 or something, NOT a 21 year old woman.

i see good sides of her and stuff that's not so great, but, she is young and that means she gets a bit of grace

He was sincere in his apology to her .. she accepted his apology then almost immediately killer nominated him ..

At least it means they can't nominate him now. He's already up.
Cue the ridiculous reasons for picking someone :joker:

It was the way she nominated him - rubbing her hands in glee

Practically seething just minutes after she had supposedly accepted Mickey’s sincere apology

She even said that ideally him being evicted was the perfect scenario

That’s definitely my view as well

Ray. 10-04-2025 03:18 AM

It's true to say that she wasn't exactly spoilt for choice with the killer nom and that she can forgive while also still not forgetting Mickey's off colour remarks towards her, in which case, the nom is still reasonable. (Although to be pedantic here, iirc she didn't exactly forgive him so much as she simply appreciated the gesture.)

What I object to is the fakery. She didn't have to put him forward with that slight touch of glee about how people on the outside won't be happy with him, and also the comments about how him going is the best case scenario for her, etc. It's all well and good if that's how she genuinely feels, but then be up front with the man and stop being nicey-nicey to his face and giving the impression that it's all water under the bridge now.

She can forgive him while still putting him forward for the killer nom in lieu of not having had any unpleasant run-ins with any oither HMs, but her way of choosing him smacks of it being anything but forgiven. She's got it out for him now. Again, that's fine. But don't be fake about it and give off the impression that things are cool between you when they're clearly not, on your part. Especially when he seems to be making a genuine effort to right his wrongs imo.

Tbh, I think that the only thing Jojo was in the wrong about in the Diary Room was her arrogantly thinking that the public will be on her side against Mickey.

But tbf she is still quite young, so will hopefully grow out of that kind of thinking.

I would imagine Mickey has probably sampled it all by this point by the way that he has lived. :joker:

I honestly don't think he is homophobic in the slightest... I think he is just used to people that can laugh at themselves and are ok with taking the piss a bit out of each other. I think he misjudged her... Assumed that she would take it in good humour and give it back a bit.

I also think that he gives zero ***** about this show and just wants to get out and get paid and go home.

But you have no problem with younger boys sleeping with old men

Why wouldn't she nominate him, he's the only one who has done anything to upset her so far? It would be weirder if she nominated someone else. Such a bizarre take

Ammi 10-04-2025 06:53 AM

…tbh, obviously we’ll never know but I think that JoJo would have nominated Mickey anyway for brushing his teeth in the kitchen and spitting into a sink that is used in food preparation and utensil cleaning etc…this just put a whole new level into it all but as they said on the live show…at this early stage, you have to often search for anything negative in a reason and the teeth brushing wasn’t much of a search, was it…I mean, it was blatant ick….

Yes, but she hasn't. She's been in the celebrity bubble since she was a child and as such is probably surrounded by sycophants.

She can be forgiven for being less "grown up" than some others of her age.

Jojo is a one trick pony. I've seen the trick, it's over. The sooner she's out the better I'll like it.

Same she will get every single one of my votes until she’s gone .

I can’t find one , even remotely , positive thing about her

Crimson Dynamo 10-04-2025 11:53 AM

Fact is he apologised

She accepted

He gave her one of his expensive designer scarves which she accepted. …
They left it on supposedly good terms

Minutes later she hits him with the killer nomination AND finished with ‘ hopefully he gets evicted.. that will be a perfect scenario “

Go figure

Yeah you just said that, fact is she still had that incident with him and she had none with anyone else so why would she pick someone else that she had no beef with (forgiven or not) over someone she did? Your points make no sense. She didn't run into the diary to nominate off her own bat, she was called into the diary room and had to pick someone, she had a reason for him and probably none for anyone else

Go figure

She had to nominate someone, and Mickey was the obvious choice. Yes he apologised, and she accepted. It's *his* fault at the end of the day, she seems to be fine everyone in the house, with very little reasons for nominating someone, he gave her all the ammo to do so.

Im sure he wont care if he's evicted tomorrow anyway.

user104658 10-04-2025 12:35 PM

It's a fairly simple one really - regardless if you agree with her reasons... If not him, who else would she have nominated that would have seemed justified?

Exactly, that phrase "forgiven but not forgotten" seems relevant here

As we can clearly see, some people believe that young women should be concerned with prettying themselves up for the benefit of middle aged men. Even gay young women. It's a level of bizarre entitlement that definitely, definitely doesn't lead to people living all alone with their dogs like......... Mickey Rourke.....

ebandit 10-04-2025 01:07 PM

.........i was impressed jo-jo chose the killer nomination rather than an easier option

good luck to her nominating whoever she wants..................

Mark L

user104658 10-04-2025 01:16 PM

Tbf another good point is, it'll make nominations more interesting. They would all have nominated Mickey as their first choice and they're all quite chummy otherwise... WAY more interesting that he's automatically up and they now all have to choose two other people to nominate.
