May Elections
For those who are having this Local Election
as many are now in a one-year delay. Due to Boundary Changes. We don't have any in our area but if you do are you going to vote? How well will Labour do given they have attacked Pensioners Disabled Women Farmers have I forgotten anyone? |
Ours have been cancelled. The crafty bastards denying us our right to vote. Our MP is CRAP.
|
i expect reform to do really well. The interesting thing will be if the tories manage to get anyone back or if it's still too early for that
|
The Poll is private so you wont be attacked for your choice

I don't know the reason? |
The true reason will be that the cowardly labour party don't want to get trounced.
They'll have given some trumped up reason for cancelling our right to vote |

No that's not True Delayed for a year. Typical of Cherie to not mention the Year Delay |
I'm not sure - it won't be based on the national parties, it will be based on
A) who's got the best policies and ideas for local issues B) who actually knocks on the door - three of the "Big Five" have been lazy sods over the school hols, and just shoved their propaganda through the door without even knocking, why should I give them my vote if they can't be bothered to doorstep me? |

There's none where I live.
So I can opt out of this one. |

We only have a mayoral election for the West of England
It's quite close but the Greens are the favourites atm  could go to any party though - Arron Banks is the Reform candidate |

You should have On your first post please, at least add something like: For those who are having this Local Election as many are now in a one-year delay. Due to Boundary Changes. |

It would make a Hell of a Change if he wins |

I usually read the manifestos and make a decision off that. Same with General Elections. I’ve voted in four general elections and across those have voted for 3 different parties (Lib Dem, Conservatives, Conservatives, Labour) for various reasons.
However it will never be Green or Reform. |

A Far better 1st Post. This Delay of a year will save Labour |
it won't save labour. Not all regions vote every time in the local elections. If regions are merging, they just go with which was the bigger region and take it's election cycle. Nothing dodgy about it. Labour will be expected to lose badly in this cycle, so thats nothing new, its how good the other parties perform that is important

Unfortunately I can’t say I have ever voted for a party a because I thought they’d be good, just that they’d be the least worst. A very sorry state of affairs. |

Haven't voted for about 11 years. |

There were three attractive young women, dressed smartly and four men in black trousers, white shirts. I didn't answer the door thinking they were gonna sell me religion, but with the no answer they shoved Reform leaflets through the letterbox, with a list of the condidates in the area.:joker::joker: |
