Big Brother Swap
 

Just had this idea, which 14 housemates from BBUK and BBUS would you like to see swap series? In other words:

14 BBUK Housemates Play and Interact under BBUS Rules.
14 BBUS Houseguests Play and Interact under BBUK Rules.

It would bring an interesting dynamic. The BBUS players are used to being over the top all the time and letting their feelings be known and would have to tone it down, whereas the BBUK players could be even more entertaining and try to adjust to the format. I personally think this is an interesting concept and I would like to get your ideas/thoughts on what if this were to happen and how housemates would react. Personally I would love to see these two casts play under the opposing rules.

Charley - Big Brother 8 UK

Now personally out of that group of 14 I could see Nick, Brian, Narinder, Jade, and Makosi easily adapting the US rules and could possibly go far whereas players like Craig, Jonny, Nush, etc would be clueless and picked off early by the quote/unquote "Meaner" players from Big Brother UK history and more strategic thinkers. Pete and Science I could see going far as comic relief possibly with Bubble but I don't think Bubble would last too long. If they were all to go into the Big Brother House my prediction for the outcome would be this:


14th. Steph - Too Quiet/Under-The-Radar, would go early

13th. Charley - Too over the top and would be a source of drama for the houseguests.

12th. Nikki - Her constant whining may bug the other housemates and they may not want to put up with it again, plus she'd be under a hell of a lot of stress with Pete in the house with her again.

11th. Craig - Probably one of the more athletic men and the house and a former winner status put against him is not a good combination. Plus he is too nice of a guy to play under rules that force you to manipulate and backstab the others. I can see him leaving around this time.

10th. Jade - Stayed just enough time to go and make nine others in the house safe, but not too long that they would have to put up with her on Sequester. She would leave around this time much to that of someone like Jase or Kail in the Big Brother US series, a disliked player who is an easy week to make sure you make the jury.

9th. Jonny - The all-around good guy would serve as some tough competition for those left. He is an easy member of the early jury and would exit first out of the Final 9.

8th. Bubble - He would probably go out in a similar fashion to that of Mike Boogie. The lovable party houseguest that people can only tolerate for some time before he gets on people's nerves and tries to use that as a cover up so he can oust the others.

7th. Brian - With the game coming down to the home stretch I doubt the others would want Brian to get further having the former winner target on him and being a possibly big strategic player. He would be evicted from the Big Brother house.

6th. Science - The guy everyone would hate to get rid of because he's such a lovable character would go out around now for that exact reason. Science would be there for the experience and play possibly a poor strategic game but coming down the home stretch he would leave around 6th or 5th place before he could possibly win a few more competitions and make the Final 2.

5th. Nadia - The last female former winner would leave when apparent she could possibly win the entire thing all over again. She could possibly play a great strategic game and win it all and that is why the other four would make sure she left the house.

Final Four:

4th. Makosi - Her lies could would only be taken down around now because of a threat of having a "Dr. Will" type win if she made the Final 2.

3rd. Pete - The last of the former winners would provide tough competition and would likely be the fan favorite, and as most great competitors and fan favorites go out, he would be third place. The last person evicted because his likability and chances of winning would be too strong if he made the Final 2 again.

Runner Up. Nick - He would definitely be the biggest backstabber and one of the best players. His manipulation that got him kicked out during Series 1 would only help him in the long run in the U.S. format. He would be a brilliant person to bring to the final two also because of his unlikability among other housemates. He would lose probably by a 5-2 or 4-3 vote, something close overall because some would be able to respect his game play.

Winner: Narinder - Narinder would be the favorite to win. She didn't do well in Big Brother UK 2 and wouldn't be considered a threat to many. Yet she has a somewhat likable personality to most and enough to win the finals. She would probably be one of the more strategic players and would do anything to win.

That is my evaluation of that particular cast scenario under Big Brother US rules. I'll do an evaluation soon of the Big Brother US players in the Big Brother UK format.

No way, Makosi or Craig would won. And Pete runner-up are you serious ? he has done anything !

Makosi would't last 2 minutes in BBUS. Her constant lies and attention seeking would be her downfall and she would be out in the first week.

Wasn't that how Will won the first time and how he made Final 4 the second time?

And I never said Pete as runner up, he would be 3rd place. He's no real competition physically and a likable person. They wouldn't want to carry a handful of likable people to the finals, only so many and I'm pretty sure Pete would be one of them to make the Final 4 based on BBUS Statistics of character types.

Lying's one of the best ways of getting forward. Makosi would definitely stand an even better chance of winning in a BB US format.

Yeah I think Arneldo didn't understand we talked about BBUS, Makosi has a great chance. She should have ben on there. :hugesmile:

Now in the case of Big Brother US players, 10 people have already played under this format before and that would be the season 1 cast. So the cast will be selected from seasons 2-8.

14th. Nicole - Nicole was one of the bigger bitches on Big Brother 2 and her hypocracy and constant complaining would more than likely rub the UK viewers the wrong way and would result her into being evicted first.

13th. Marcellas - Another obnoxious housemate would be the follow up boot in Week 2. Marcellas is a huge whiner and would probably lead the exit around this time or the following week.

12th. Ivette - Another whiner. She would constantly complain about other housemates and refuse to acknowledge the presence of cameras and continue her racial slurs toward certain ethnicities until it would piss off enough Housemates to get her nominated and evicted.

11th. Howie - His antics would probably be looked down upon by the audience and his rudeness would get him nominated and sent out the door pretty early on but easily further than the other three.

10th. Holly - Sure to be similar to that of Nikki but with a way more annoying voice. I don't think the viewing public would be able to handle more than 5 weeks of listening to her...

9th. Evel Dick - Another Howie type just 10x more rude and extreme yet he possesses an entertaining factor. He has a heart of a gold for his daughter and without her he'd process on more relaxed rather than his current season. But the viewing public would only take so much of his antics before he would get booted.

8th. Alison - Easily the Makosi of the US series. Her flirtatious tactics and sluttiness would work for her in the house up until the public would get sick of her manipulation and trickery and then she would be voted out.

7th. Mike Boogie - Mike Boogie would be the big party animal of the season, a somewhat likable yet immature character would be killed when his true personality of a manipulative, rude, mean player were to be exposed and the viewers would not be fond of his temper...

6th. Amy - Amy has a very colorful personality and I think that her alcoholic tendencies would provide drama and comedy for the show until people got fed up with her.

5th. Marvin - Marvin would be quite a player much like Victor from the UK series. Arguably one of the funniest housemates of Big Brother history he would no doubt make the Top 5 and only lose the legends of epic proportions from Big Brother history.

Final Four

4th. Jen - Jen would be the type to be annoying at first but you would grow to love her as time went on, one of the major contenders to win this series but in the end the other titans would just outdo her.

3rd. Janelle - America's fan favorite would have a love/hate status anywhere with no in betweens however that would work against her in the end and she would wind up with the dreaded 3rd place finish making her finish 3rd three times.

So in the End we're left with the Biggest Villain and the Biggest Hero of Big Brother History battling it out in the end. But based on CBS Polls and terms of character...

Runner Up: Kaysar - A Definite Big Brother legend who carries somewhat the same personality to that of Jermaine Jackson. Somewhat shy and under-the-radar but also visible to an extent and good game player. However it wouldn't be enough to win against arguably the most well known and notorious player of Big Brother History.

Winner: Will - No doubt in my mind, no matter what country Will would be the one to adapt to that format much like he did with the new US format in All-Stars and only lost because of a single vote that was to an extent manipulated. His charm, entertainment factor, and unpredictability would carry him far and lead to another victory.

Makosi was a rubbish lyer and all the UK housemates saw right threw her. If the UK housemate saw right threw her, you can bet your ass the US one would.

Of course Will is the best game-player with Janelle and Jen. They are brilliant.

She fooled her housemates though - bigtime. You don't have to fool the public to get far in the BB US format. She was an excellent liar. The public saw through her of course, and she was hated because this country hates people who play the game on a gameshow, which is much like hating a football player for scoring a goal.

Dr Will was the "puppet master" on Season 2 in the US, so in All Stars Season 7, all the housemates knew what he was capable of, and he still got far. So it wouldn't matter if the housemates knew exactly what Makosi can do, because she could still go far in the BB US format.

Anyone remember Alison?? She was basically Makosi and made Final 2 in her season.

Makosi would make damn sure she was more efficient with lies knowing she WOULD be targeted. Would she go out earl? Nope. Would she win? Hell no. But she would definitely go far.

I agree, Makosi can say she's pregnant, the viewers won't mind lol :tongue:

I remeber Alison, but I also remember her being first out in All Stars and I remember she didn't win in S4 after the Jury saw she was lieing sneaky ***** [Even though I liked her].

Right but she was in the house with players the likes of Chilltown, James, Danielle, Janelle, and Kaysar where as these UK players would be unexperienced and she could manipulate them easy and go far while because they'd still be trying to figure out the game.

Yeah Alise was evicted early because the other housemates were so much better and more malicious than her.
I'm sure Makosi, Jason and Victor would go far.

Would the UK players have seen Makosi in BB6UK?

Obviously but they don't know how to play BBUS and Makosi's lying tactics would help her adapt to to the game the quickest therefore she would go far.

Well if they saw her in BBUK, then she would be Alison in All Stars and would out on her ass first.

But obviously the majority doesn't know how to play the game ! :thumbs:
Even if Makosi has been watched, it doesn't matter when she will come into the house and being a drama queen, she will use her tactis and her strategies. Lying is the first thing to do in BBUS, honest people can't stay in.

BBUS isn't that hard to play lol and if they all don't know how to play then its a level playing field and they would all learn they have to lie and I'm sure some could do it more then or just as good as Makosi. Makosi being the attention seeking, drama queen, liar that she is won't help her stay in. Makosi didn't have a game plan in BBUK, she wasn;t a great game player, she was just an attention seeker with a lot of look.

Of course she did, she was being a bitch with all the others in order to be hated. However, she knew what she did and that's why she stayed for a long time. She did things very well in order to be hated BUT not being nominated. She did very well.

It's a lot harder than you think. And what would make you think someone like Nick or w/e who may be just as disliked wouldn't want to keep her around so they could win a jury vote against them in the finals??

Some in the house have admitted they didn't nominate Makosi because they didn't believe she was a threat [Derek, Craig for example.] Makosi had friends in the house who were very under the radar and that helped her get far, plus Anthony fancied her. It wasn't a game plan, it was luck. BBUK is a lot harder then BBUS when it comes to having a game plan as you need to have the public on your side - Nobody has been able to do that yet, besides Jungle Cats Victor & Jason.

WOW you thought about this hard i think makosi would win the us oneits all about the gameplayers and makosi is the biggest one and she was liked by most in the house she was in so she would of got far.

Nick definitely wouldn't want to keep anyone around, especially Makosi. Nick is sombody who goes into things all alone and is in it for himself. If Nick was going to keep any of the people you mentioned in, it would be men and people like Craig.

I never once stated Nick would be in it to win it with Makosi. I'm saying he would use her as a tool and drag her to the end as an easy beat considered as the lesser of two evils. And also NO ****ING WAY IS BBUK HARDER THAN BBUS STRATEGICALLY. Anyone who is entertaining and has a good personality can win BBUK. Whereas BBUS you cannot even trust your best friend or closest ally because in the end they could easily cut your throat and keep your worst enemy over you.

In BBUK you can't have a game plan, so for those who chose to have one it makes it so hard. The reason is in BBUS the public have no say so its easier of the contestants, In BBUK the game players have to not only please ALL of the housemates but they have to please millions of people watching and voting at home.

Maybe that's why Makosi didn't win ! But she deserved too with Craig.
But we talk about BBUS and I still think she can deliver a mint job as always.

I'm sorry, but that is extremely biased. America loved and still does love Howie. America loathes Mike. Mike would not go far. Will wouldn't have his lying and stuff in the UK since they can't discuss nominations. Dick also would get out a lot earlier. Don't think that Marvin has what it takes to get to the final four.

Not so much considering Will was the only one to overthrow Janelle as a fan favorite in the polls. And no after threatening and Bullying the more popular Chicken George, Howie is in the bottom 6 on the polls, he is not as loved as before. Dick would possibly get out earlier and Mike Boogie would doubtfully get the nomination votes that early on. And I never said Will's lying factor would come into this game. I said he had charm, the entertaining factor, and unpredictably that would make him win a BBUK crossover.

No Will wouldn't win BBUK, if one of them have to win a UK series is obviously Janelle. In BBUS we have too many hated characters and in UK it's hard to hate someone. A UK housemate in the US house is like an "innocent happy bunny". And an american houseguest like Dick will be considered as a murderer in UK or in Australia.

Obviously Janelle? Just because she was America's favorite doesn't mean that would also translate in th UK. She was very cocky, arrogant, and dominative. Where as Will was all those things but he had charm to persuade the houseguests and the viewers into liking him. Will WOULD win.

I think that Mike from bb8, Hardy, and Drew would be very strong competitors in the UK. Later on I will put up my own.

Janelle would be slaughtered over in BBUK. She would be public enemy number one. She was a good game player but not a very nice person and her good looks would do her no favors over here.

EXACTLY. You point out my thought perfectly. She would most definitely NOT WIN. She may get far, but there is no way on Earth someone who is somewhat mean and bullyish going to win BBUK.
