LEE 29-07-2003 11:22 AM

Thanks Rach, what a lovely article. Helen sounds just as dippy as ever

I agree with Peachy, it's a pity they used lots of old pictures and that there was only one up to date one.

:flower:

rachb 29-07-2003 11:30 AM

on reading through this again I kept laughing so much, they just sound like they do in Rob's stories:laugh::laugh:
are you sure you don't live next door to them Rob??:laugh::laugh:

Romantic Old Bird 29-07-2003 01:08 PM

Good grief, have I died and gone to heaven?

What a great article!!

HOW flaming gorgeous does Paul look????

I am thrilled to little bits, OK, I know, there's a lot of me, so LOTS of little bits!

No, I don't live next door to them, but I did find their house on Saturday! I didn't stop the car, or even approach the building. Aren't you proud of me?

Well, there were no cars in the drive anyway........

:bawling:

Sticks 29-07-2003 05:45 PM

Helen looks like she has really aged in that shot.

bananarama 29-07-2003 06:57 PM

What can I say!! Brilliant. Made my day. :colour::colour:

Only making a comment on how the photographer has fluffed the photograph. You can make anyone look awful if you are not careful. The ones in Hello Magazine when they went to Paris were quite flattering.

The Heat photographer needs to go back to art college for making Helen look like she does in that shot.

BusyBee 29-07-2003 09:11 PM

My credibility has gone down the pan at work again. There I was quietly reading through the quite interesting Heat article during my lunch hour when I got rumbled.

Within minutes it was all round the office. she has lost it again - she's found a new Paul and Helen article. We wont get any sense out of her today.

I really dont know why they think reading an article on a couple of housemates would turn me into a grinning image of myself. Trouble is they know me too well. But the magazine was borrowed by several others just to see what I was on about of course. Believe that if you will.

All I can say is :love: makes the world go round. It was just like reading one of ROB's stories you could almost hear them speaking. What a wonderful insight. OMG I'm grinning again.:blush::blush::blush:

kaphc 29-07-2003 09:29 PM

Oh. My. God!!!!

I bought heat at lunchtime and didn't even realise that the interview was in there until I got home tonight! It geniunely made me laugh out loud at some of their banter - it's so lovely!!

Long live Paul & Helen!

(And well done ROB ... !!!)

WILDCHILD 29-07-2003 10:41 PM

What a lovely surprise! You just can't beat Big Brother 2 - with our Helen and Paul. They havent changed at all through reading that.

My friend apparently met Bubble the other night because he came to a Plymouth nightclub (I was away else I so would have been up there!!) and she said he was very arrogant and up himself. I dont know whether to believe that, being a Big Brother 2 fan myself but Im just glad the fame didnt change Paul and Helen.

I've met Bubble quite a few times and I've always found him to be lovely, not arrogant at all.

:elephant:  :elephant: Brilliant! :elephant:  :elephant:

Well done, Heat - another fantastic interview with Helen and Paul. I'm so happy that they're so happy.

Oh, and merci beaucoup to rachb for scanning in the article and photos. Haven't had a chance to get to a newsagents yet to buy my very own copy, so this was much appreciated.

(Loving the new avatar, ROB! :spin:)

chilledbootz 30-07-2003 12:22 AM

How exciting was this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the bit about the piece of paper outside blowing in the wind. Hysterical and I could hear every word of that conversation!! Also taking the bra back to M&S. Brilliant!!

oooooo just remembered. Maybe i've got a bit of clout with Mr Frith

I wish I did. They seem warm, pleasantly daft and genuine. What more could you ask for?

blinkinlovely 31-07-2003 11:42 PM

Now I knoe that my OH is a recent convert to BB (he enjoyedBB4, as I did - sorry, and asked for daily updates of the live broadcasts in the early hours of the am that I watched whilst on holiday...)

However, I was not sure that he would be up to Heat, H&P etc. So I bought it and read it whilst my copy of Heat was inside another magazine ... I know, sorry again.....

As you say - pleasantly daft and quite touching. Loved the bit when H said that P did not, like to arrive home from work if she wasn't there.. ahhhh

Still, being off scholl is great. I can but all the trashy mags and look at the showbiz/BB pics without being rumbled. It's great.

Nice pic of Cam on the BB site today by the way.

chilledbootz 02-08-2003 08:58 AM

After reading it for like the hundredth time, I've found another bit i like.
Do you ever lie to each other?

H: We don't do we? Well, maybe little white lies like (mimicking Paul)"Is that top new?" "No i've had it ages!"
P And like why once we had 12 wine glasses and now we only have three left, but apparently none got broken.
H:Giggles and hits Paul on the arm) I never drop things you!
P Helen drops approximately five things a day. She breaks stuff all the time.

I could hear every word of this and I laughed out loud in my staff room. Very funny!!!!!!!!:elephant::hello::dance:

Romantic Old Bird 02-08-2003 10:14 AM

'I've had it for ages' sounds pretty familiar!

I suspect their real dialogue is far funnier than anything I could create.

I know it's disappointing that marriage seems a pretty distant plan, but it's a very concrete one.

The childrens names are hilarious, and I have to say that Helen shows marginally more restraint than Paul in this department! (By the way, I just KNEW Paul would be a Fifth Element fan!!)

The discussion of wedding dress colours is hilarious, and as I said ages agao, Helen obviously has visions of a rosy romantic glow, whilst Paul has nightmares of Alice and Hugo's wedding, crossed with the Kyle and Chardonnay number in footballers wives!

BigSister 02-08-2003 11:59 AM

I bought this not realizing that it had Helen and Paul in it turned the pages and was thrilled:dance:
I really enjoyed it thank you Heat:thumbs:

cc100 02-08-2003 05:10 PM

helens as daft as a brush aint she!!

lovely girl

sweetlittlesara 02-08-2003 10:02 PM

Bought this at the airport when I came in, what a lovely suprise!!! They are so lovely together, and it is great to see that they have still remained so close, even though they must have been through some tough times.

steve_o 03-08-2003 12:56 AM

Nice to see them again, and even nicer to see that they've thought about there fans out there, at last! I mean I've thought about nothing else. Before people start to get on my case, I'm only joking. :joker:

:spin:

Mervi 03-08-2003 06:09 PM

Thank you

Thank you so very much for scanning that article! I live in Finland and don't get to read English papers. Ii is fantastic to see that people are still interested in Helen and Paul who I've just got to know. I'm really happy that they are still together!

Princess Pink Pants 04-08-2003 03:33 PM

This was such as nice surprise!

It was a bit annoying at first coz I was sitting in the audience at Knebworth on Friday and a girl in front og me had Heat and I could see her reading an interview with Helen and Paul & I knew I wasnt gonna be able to buy a copy til the next day, so I was gonna wait til she'd finished readin it then politely ask if I could borrow it, but then my friend pulled a load of newspapers and mags out of her bag and she had heat, THANK GOD!

It took us 5 and a half hours to get out of the Knebworth carpark!
The concert finished at 10.30pm and I got home at 6.30am!!! Grrrrr! Sorry, but I, telling every that at the mo coz it was so god dam annoying!!!

It looks like Helens wearing braces in that pic! Maybe just my imagination!

I thought that as well PPP

kaphc 04-08-2003 08:42 PM

Some friends from work went to Knebworth last night and said they didn't get back until 4:15 am this morning. They managed to get out of the car park at about 2am so they must have been lucky!!

They said it was definitely worth it! :hello::hello:

Sticks 04-08-2003 10:50 PM

Who is Robbie Williams :conf:

Didn't he star on Mork and Mindy ?

BusyBee 04-08-2003 11:25 PM

Amazing what excitement can be created by Heat printing an article about our Helen and Paul. As far as we are concerned absence of information makes the heart grow fonder.
They sound surprised that people are still interested in them - if they only knew:hugesmile::dance::hugesmile:

cc100 06-08-2003 03:29 PM

i dont think shes wearing braces!!

i think its as sticks says, bad photography
