Why are so many new members being banned?
 

I was just wondering, because so many new members are being banned. Are they trying to make multiple accounts or are they X members or something?

Yeah most of them are previously banned members.

Some people are so desperate and some people just like to be annoying..

They're previously banned members that come back to troll. :thumbs:

Either that or they're spammers or break the rules very early on in their stay at TiBB. :laugh:

Because most of them were Rice_Square.

yeah its becaue most of them are old members we dont really get spammers only when bb is on

I think the banned members who have returned recently under a new name are bb8:(, Nodisharmony, Stropz and Rice_Snap (when he was taking a TiBB break).

Wh odid they all come back as, well I know who Nodisharmony was, but what about everyone else? :conf2:

I think most of the banned member accounts should be deleted. It gives a more realistic image of members, and it gives more usernames

First of all because they did break the rules. And some come back because they think that TIBB is like a family (like Stropz) and some in order to annoy us by trolling at all the time.

Lol I wanted to give some name but finally I didn't. Well Rice is the exemple of someone who shouldn't go back, that's a troll. :thumbs: (No arguments please, we had some many this week)

It gets a bit confusing though, because you don't know who's actually new or who's just trolling - so you get all suspicious. :hugesmile:

As mentioned, members tend to get more warnings for spamming etc. when BB is on.

I suspected someone, as they are very chatty in the lounge for a new member, and they share a similar name to scallywag. (Which I assocatite with Pirates.)

I was told by "someone" through U2U that my debates in the serious discussion forum were impressive, but because I was so good at arguing my point, staff/old members were starting to grow wary of my "intelligence" or "debating skills" and were thinking of banning me?

Now im aware this may be a desperate attempt for someone to stop me debating, perhaps because on their regular account I won a debate with them, which may have annoyed them in some way.

But if people really are discussing my banning purely because I have the necessary brain power to produce a decent argument, then that really isn't fair, to be quite honest.

As ive never insulted anyone directly, in a debate.
Plus id like to think I contribute to the forum in a positive way? in all area's, not just that particular forum.

When I joined the forum everyone thought I was "hitman" which lead to a lot of people disliking me. Which is why I was travelling the forum ending up in a few more arguments than id have liked.

I joined after BB8, so the only spaming I've saw on this forum is Nodisharmonys little show a few weeks back.

Remy, I like how you say something about RS and then say "No arguments", as basically you know that by saying you will be causing an argumetn.

I guess that's a sarcasm. I had to say what I needed to say cause I coudn't resist anymore then so far, nobody has been offended and as much as I know, I'm right in the way that Rice is back.

And who are you to decide which banned members are ''trolls'' and who are ''part of the TiBB family''? Once you're banned, you're banned and you shouldn't come back but the hypocrisy from some members on here is unbelieveable ... you have banned members coming back all the time who are treated badly/not welcomed back and rightly so, but then Stropz comes back and it's like one, big party and that's not fair ... and it's hypocritical.

Also, do you not think that it's ''annoying'' for the admin who have to keep checking IP addresses and banning Stropz's accounts? They're wasting their time checking IPs and banning but as it's Stropz, a lot of people think it's fine but would be more than happy to jump on the bandwagon if it was somebody else ... pisshead, jamie, RS etc.

I personally really like Stropz, I get on with her great and wish she was still a member but she got banned fair and square so obviously has to stay banned, whether people feel she's part of this ''TiBB family'' or not.

Oh and Stropz, no doubt you're reading this :laugh:, you know this is not targetted at you, just at the hypocrites on the forum.

The difference i Stropz comes ba for a laugh, nodis and people come back with weird messages and stuff. BUt I do agree with you

Well tell them where to go. None of us have a right to tell anyone on here to leave or that they should be banned.

I would of course tell them where to go im rice_square but if i do i will be banned and i have one last chance and if i blow it then im a gooner and i like it here the net will be so pointless if im banned :sad::angel:

I didn't mean it like that. At least Stropz comes back, as said Billy in order to have a laugh and not to annoy us. She says who is she. The contrary with trolls is that they permanetly come back generally to tell how much they hate us. And that's not hypocritical: what happened with Stropz was a bit special. At the beginning she shouldn'd go back and she knows it but what we can do against that ?

It is indeed a pain when ANY banned member comes back, it takes up so much of our time checking people out and at the end of the day we have other things we could be doing.

Like you Legend I really Like Stropz, she is a cracker but she was banned and who are we to decide which banned members are special and which are not.

I'd say about 30 banned accounts are of previous members. Why cant they learn that they'll keep getting banned when they come back? I think it makes the forum look bad with so many banned members aswell. Im sure guests on the forum don't realise that its only X members coming back. They probs think this is the worst forum on the internet. :conf2:

And, by the way, I've never said I've decided something at all. I just said that there are some categories in banned members. Well I guess that the word "troll" wasn't in its right place and that caused a big thing for nothing.
It was not hypocritical, so ok Linda is a troll as she always come back but at the beginning, she shouldn't. But at least she's friendly and she tells us who is she.
