website blocked at school
 

why is tinypic and photobucket blocked and not imageshack?

why is facebook and bebo blocked and not myspace?

why is websites at school blocked at all?

please help!

At school everything involving games is blocked on mine, i can't even search "Games" on google which is annoying, bit pathetic really.
I'm just so lucky Tibb isn't blocked.

In my college, only myspace and porno website are blocked.

Google image search is blocked at my school
Bebo and Miniclip are also blocked at my school

Gaming sites, Myspace and all that stuff are blocked on our network. PS you cant ask us why cause only the IT techinians at your school would know haha as they set it up.

In portsmouth [where I live] the websites eg youtube, games, chat, ebay are blocked by the council!

One of my friends at school downloaded something. I think its a poxey, and it umblocked every site, even youtube and myspace.

The council can't block what you do on your home pc though or do you mean the whole schools pc system.

In our school bebo,myspace,tibb forum, every other forum, porno stuff, games, image searches on google, facebook, msn, emailing sites,..

You name it! Its blocked!!

Its just the school network that blocks our schools websites. Anyway, I have better things to do at lunch and break apart form site at a computer everyone. Its only handy if ICT is boring.

But if your talking about the actually CITY councils aren't allowed to do that, nor would they care about it. Its a waste of time and money, are you sure you aren't just telling a likkle fib?? :wink:

Poxey isnt a website, its a programme, on a number of sites. If you find a new poxey site it will not be blocked by the network and you can download it.

nothings blocked in my school but i hardly ever use the computers.

Ill MSN a friend and see if they have a link to the a 'new' sitethat wont yet be blocked.

Same, why sit at a computer all lunch when you can go up the town with friends or play football? Cant some people contain themselves until theyre at home?

And ICT is crap. Its always the same stuff. I usually just use the internet. Who doesnt know how to sort folders and use the internet?

TiBB's like the only website not blocked at my school.

yeah the teachers just say if they catch us on any un sutible sites we will be in trouble but they did block some sites in my primary school.

at mine myspace, youtube, bebo, piczo, yahoo and all the game site are blocked but thats why you get websites to unblock them :spin2:

My school blocks everything, you search for "proxys" in google and it blocks the google page with the search results, all the proxys are blocked.

Although, i have manage to acess some admistrator settings but i risk getting suspended:tongue:

Well you should all be working anyway lol - when i was at school nothing was blocked but our year was completly baned from using the computers full stop!!

make sure you dont let your secret out then pj lol,i used to find loads of cool websites at school (before i left lol) but then everyone else ended up knowing about them and they got blocked but we had some pretty cool,boredom busting ones that we kept from the teachers from a while.ha ha suckers,we always used to get away with msn aswell lol

We used to go on https://www.kproxy.com/index.jsp to get to any sites but then they blocked that and every other proxy site. Its so annoying!

I've learnt that proxy sites are blocked, that have proxy in the URL, or proxy on the site.

gizliweb used to work for us until we all used it.
www.allowmyspace.com is used now.
