Is this news?

Benji 14-05-2008 02:33 PM

some people may be interested in looking at the housemates....it doesnt have to be news to be posted in a thread......i would have thought even you know that - and plus, its posted in the General BB section

Pardon me, I was only asking. Personally I dont really see the point in posting pictures of BB HM's in the street. Maybe some others do.

You're right it doesn't have to be news to be posted in a thread but whats the point in starting a thread that just contains pictures of ex-BB HM's out in club. No article just the pictures. It seems a bit of a waste of time all round. And, just to reinforce my point note that nobody posted in this thread till I did. Isn't it good that this thread has caused such lively discussions.:pat:

Mrluvaluva 14-05-2008 02:55 PM

Some people like to see the photos and there is no harm in it so you don't have to comment if you deem it unecessary. Not every thread on here interests me so I just post in the ones that do and don't complain about the others.

Who's complaining? I asked a question that you've just answered.

For someone who has a problem with waste of time, you sure are spending a lot of time objecting to a simple photos thead. Youre not interested, simple, stay out of the thread. I think the title clearly states what it is. I entered the thread to look at the photos. Why did you?

GiRTh 14-05-2008 04:20 PM

I entered the thread to see if this was some kind of pap photoshoot containing pages of photos or the load of bollox that I thought it might be. Ten photos is a bit of a waste of time in my book.

For the record, I've spent no more time in this thread than I do in any other thread that I think might be a waste of time. Thanks for your concern.

In your opinion of course.

Captain.Remy 14-05-2008 04:34 PM

I like seeing housemates clubbing and interacting between each others, and between different series.

Of course in my opinion but I dont see too many people commenting on the photo's instead they all want to have a pop at me for my first post. A post I made in frustration as I found out that this was a thread with some pictures of ex-HM's posing for paps and not anything interesting.

EDIT: The photos are so interesting that no ones noticed Maxwell (BB6) is in one of them. Plenty of people wanting to comment on my indifference to this thread but no one pointing out Maxwell. I rest my case.

MrGaryy 14-05-2008 05:01 PM

Maxwell's there too!

officialleafan 14-05-2008 05:05 PM

Anyway, back to the photos

Ziggy looks like an alien

Awww. Are you feeling picked on? There is hardly anyone on here during the day at the moment. In your view if a thread isn't responded to in a few hours is it a waste of time?

Is there an echo in here?

I'm still one of two people who have commented on the pictures. Why haven't you commented on the contents of your own thread? Why didnt you point out Maxwell was also in one of the photos? How does a photo of Phillipe Senderos have anything to do with Big Brother?

I see threads like this up and down the forum. From the title I should have seen that it was a waste of time but I clicked anyway and, low and behold, this thread turned out to be exactly what I thought it was. Ninety nine percent of the time I roll my eyes and look for something else to comment on but this time I posted. And look at the reaction. Its a shame we dont have such a strong reaction to threads like this.

The simple answer is it doesn't interest me. I post them for other members who like to see photos of ex HM's. Is that so surprising to you that I take time out to post things for other people? Is that incomprehendable to you?

They don't interest me, therefore I don't comment. Simple really.

Firstly, I don't think there is such a word is incromprehendable, did you mean incomprehensible?

So you feel you do the forum a service then do you?

Yeah. Someone who hates threads like this (but generally always comments in them) pointed it out to me.

Come again? Its a simple enough question.

As I pointed out earlier, 99 times out of 100 I ignore threads like this and boy are there loads of them on the forum, this time in a moment of weakness I commented and here we are MrLuvaLuva and I are going back and forth again and my karma has miraculously been reduced.. Why dont you end this discussion by answering the question?

Ooh. Look at all the 1% of threads you have commented in appearing. Were they moments of weakness too? :pat:

GiRTh 15-05-2008 10:13 AM

Each time I've commented on the pic. Isn't that what you want?
