Faviroute TV Channel
As above
C4 by a long way
I thought I should include Sky One up there aswell. The best is ITV or C4. I can't vote ;P
I hate Channel Five so much. There is no point in it :conf2:.
Channel 4 because it has my fave shows.
Eg. BB, Hollyoaks, FNP, The Simpsons, Friends, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives ect... The list goes on. |
BBC1
C4 is my faviroute too. The worst is 5.
The only thing I watch on C5 is Neighbours. I only watched Buffy when it was on BBC2, but I never watch BBC2 ever, I now know that Kyle XY is on BBC2 so I will watch it. Friday night was the first time in about 3 years where I watched BBC2.
So, the worst ones are BBC2 and Five tied. |
C4 - Desperate Housewives, BB, Bollywood films....
Deffo C4 im always on that channel as well as e4 and e4 +1 (im on e4 +1 atm) lol x

Definetly Channel 4. BBC2 is ok as is ITV1 but I prefer ITV2!
I chose C4 because it's got so many good reality shows, game shows, documentaries etc.... While the only good thing about 5 is home and away, BBC1, doctor who. ITV1, errrr. struggling here. Sky One, only watched it like once in 4 years. BBC2 is just old programs, like TOTP2 etc...
ITV-For Saturday Night and good ITV2 stuff as well
C4-For BB,documentaries,Hollyoaks and Shipwrecked I watch Desperate Houswives,Lost,Grey's Anatomy and Home and Away on Irish tv. The only things I watch on BBC are Doctor Who and The Apprentice. |
C4! Best reality shows are on C4, Big Brother, Shipwrected ect.
Channel 4. So funny, young and fresh. :spin2:

Channel 4.
Channel 4 or 5 -
5 because of Neighbours :D x I voted 4 thoughh x |
Channel 4 has programme which I find fit everyone's taste's. In the morning kids can watch the American Comedies, during the day some of the older generation can watch stuff like old films, CountDown, and may other's, including Paul O'Grady. But then come 6:00 its the turn of 15-30 year old's. I'm not saying these programme's are made for this audience, but it's whoI find are watching at this time.

Mine is the Paramount Comedy channel but it isn't up there. I can easily turn it on early evening and watch it for the rest of the night. It only shows repeats but repeats of classic comedies like Frasier, The Larry Sander's Show, Seinfeld, Sex and the City and others. It also shows stand up featuring the likes of Lee Evans, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, David Spade and the great Bill Hicks.
Of the channels listed I'd go for BBC2 for it original programming. BB1 is the worst channel followed by C4. ITV and Five are better than people think. In fact, Five probably shows the best current crop of imported dramas with all the CSI's, all the Law and Orders and the likes of The Shield, House, Greys Anatomy. ITV consistently provided quality new dramas and adaptations like the Agatha Christie adaptations and the various dramas written by the likes of Lynda La Plante or Jimmy McGovern I dont like BBC1 because it shows little commitment to new programming; it's a prime time, ratings busting channel. Many shows that are shown on BBC1 debuted on BBC2 only to become popular and switched to BBC1 to try and obtain maximum ratings. Shows like Fawlty Towers and Ab Fab both debuted on BBC2 and in recent times The Apprentice and Have I Got News For You also started on BBC2 only to be switched to BBC1 after they became popular. In terms of cutting edge original programming BBC2 is streets ahead of BBc1. When C4 started it promised to be original but has failed to live up to the billing. C4, like BBC1, will not stand by a programme that doesn't immediately produce results. C4 has bought numerous US comedies like Everbody Loves Raymond and Just Shoot me yet they have never given them any kind of run in prime time.. The Sopranos, The West Wing and Six Feet Under were shows that, at the height of their popularity, were banished to C4's digital stations with the audience being told they were not going to be shown on C4 again. The Sopranos has been shown, but in a ridiculous time slot while C4 has still never shown the final three seasons of the West Wing or the final two seasons of Six Feet Under. C4 also has the rights to award winning shows like Curb Your Enthusiam and Entourage but has never shown a single episode on terrestial TV. Will and Grace's final few seasons were also victims of C4 reluctance to hand over its prime time slots to a show that has lost some of its popularity. Yet C4 has shown over a thousand repeats of Friends. In fact they reached the thousand mark while the show was still on the air. Thats doesn't look much like cutting edge, original proramming to me. |

BBC2 for me. Due to it's commitment to new programming.
