I love Alex, she's the best housemate in there. However she's nothing like Grace.

So she's a total horror show to peoples faces, which is unacceptable. No excuse in my book, and much worse than Grace, though Grace was pretty bad.

Wouldn't you rather you knew what people think of you or would you rather people pretended while they were around you? I've said in many posts that Alex needs to learn a bit of tact and diplomacy and if she did people would change their opinions of her. She's right much more than she's wrong; she just doesn't express herself in a very tactful manner.

If I had to pick behind my back V to my face, I'd pick to my face. But Alex doesn't just say things to peoples faces, she shouts, screams, swears and acts like a total scummy chav. I wouldn't want that under any circumstances, so in her case, do the behind the back thing, because I'd just end up kicking her in the head after 2 minutes of the face to face.

OK then. So you've made youre mind up without considering that she may just lack certain social skills. How do you come to the total scum conclusion? What is that based on? The incident with Mikey was his fault so it can't be that. So what then? Why is she scum? In hre VT she came across as hard working and dilligent. Surely, you can see she has some decency.

Fair enough the guy made a bad call by putting on someone's underwear but that argument was between Mikey and Sylvia. Alex just decided that she didn't like Mikey for reasons known only to her, and jumped into the argument making it all about how disgusted SHE was and how disrespectful Mikey was.

Nobody was disrespecting Alex at that point but what she and many other people like her need to realise is that respect has to be earned and you don't get it by trying to be the loudest person in the room, screaming, whining, swearing and shouting anyone down that tries to add reason to the argument. That one needs chucking out before someone snaps and murders her in her sleep or something. Hope springs eternal! :rolleyes:

Anyone can put on a show for a 2 minute VT. Now the cameras are on her 24/7 her true distasteful and obnoxious character is coming out....and doesn't everyone know it. :nono: I fear we've not yet felt the full lash of her venomous tongue yet either. :devil:

i dont think grace was disliked as much in the first few days, as much as alex is.

True but in VT's most people become caricatures of themselves. If anything she underplayed herself.

I think she's trying to be the HM who no one messes with and whos opinions are respected. I feel that if she made nice a bit more the public would warm to her a little.

Respect has to be earned and you don't get it by being insulting and launching personal attacks at people just because you feel they deserve it. Someone like her doesn't understand that. She needs to go.

I wouldn't say she 's Grace but I wouldn't compare housemates from this year to an series, vice versa, each housemate is unique although some might show similarities to housemates in previous there still different.
Back to the question, Alex is nothing like Grace, Alex just has a huge attitude problem and big mouth to go with it.

Grace was naieve and perhaps not the sharpest knife in the drawer BUT in a way, that was kind of an excuse for her carry on...

Charley Uchea was feisty to the point of obnoxious BUT she did seem to have soul under all that attitude and I can't remember her being as TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS as Alex..... PLUS, and this shouldn't make a difference but it does, she was very, very cute..... At least until she spoke...

Alex SAYS she's clever so she SHOULD know better... And since when did not giving a toss what other people think become a good thing..... I guess basic consideration for others ain't street....And in the looks dept she ain't no Charley...

Her VT (?) showed she was just arrogant and boastful, but those bits of video don't prove much so I gave her a chance. Now from the minute she's been in the house she's just been the most unpleasant, disrespectful, obnoxious, arrogant person in the house. She's scum, and it's obvious from the way she behaves. You seem to have alot of faith in her that she's going to show some unseen good qualities (hard working and diligent must be a joke, she's shown no such thing), but there's no way she has earned that faith you're showing. Why are you holding out for her to make a positive impression based on how dire she has behaved so far? Does she owe you money?

I seem to have misjudged her as I pointed out in another post. Hopefully her dressing down from Big Brother will make her change but I dont hold much hope.
