What's the use of this TV show when all of my favorites keep getting evicted? I want to be supporting my favorites, not watching boring people who shouldn't even be in that house. *sigh* Is there really a reason to keep watching? In past series at least it took awhile for my favorites to be evicted. Charley wasn't evicted until week 8 and Ziggy was in the finale, as was Jonty. But this year things are different! It's only Day 40 and already I've only got four favorites left.

Oh, Big Brother... perhaps your time really is up....

the best thing is to have an open mind from the start dont pick fave's just support everyone i do cause i use to get upset about it now i just watch the show like a soap.

i agree, 1st steph then jennifer and i would have prefered if sylivia had stayed tbh
and although dennis deserved to be removed he was still entertaining :sad:

Mario & Steph should still be in there. The British Public are a gang of useless yobs who need to be stopped! They keep evicting the entertaining housemates and leave us with people like bloody Belinda! Jesus!

Why is BB's time up just because your favourites have left? Obviously the majority's favourites aren't leaving, cos they're getting the majority vote to be evicted.

Big Brother's done a great job this year. So have the housemates. The problem is the voters, and because of them I don't think I'll be watching next year, that is, if the show is still on after the ratings drop that's resulting from throwing out all of the entertaining ones.

The problem is that people vote out the entertaining ones then stop watching. Remember the ratings drop after week 8 last year? It's because people vote out the entertaining ones, then don't watch the show anymore because it's too boring. I guess the good voters who knew how to keep the show entertaining got frustrated last year and stopped watching, so now we're left with a bunch of voters who will only bring the show down even more. It's like a self-full filing prophecy.

The majority vote may not be the same as the majority as in want.....Multiple voting a corrupt voting system will always hide the true facts of popularity or otherwise.....

That's much easier said than done.......For me it's not just about favourite housemates going out but housemates that have more potential to evoke drama and story lines (You don't have to like em) are being as per usual removed from the house too early..

Like any race BB should be paced.......(it's thirteen weeks long for goodness sake) The public in general don't do that. as soon as a housemate becomes a little controversial or makes a mistake they are gone...Such a shame as its just like ripping up a good book after the first chapter and then expecting the final chapter to make sense....

So Big Brother's time is up just because you're favourites are gone? Hardly seems fair. You cant win em all I'm afraid and the fact that you have FOUR favourites is quite an achievement I think.

Mario was hated from the second he mentioned he had a fan club.
Stephanie's mistake was not trying to hard in the task.
Jennifer overreacted one time and suddenly she's gone.
All Belinda did was snore, but the annoying thing is that snoring is easily stopped but Big Brother denied her requests for treatment! Erg!

Charley was hated by loads of people.
&Ziggy, plainly, was a real twat.
Jonty would never have won because he was new in.

I do agree that people get voted out for stupid things.
On the other hand, I believe Stephanie, Mario, and Belinda [if she goes] would have deserved eviction.
Jennifer I don't believe she should've gone but I do think she should've gone against Rex, and Sylvia in no way deserved to go.

I disagree with corrupt voting, and also with multiple voting - thousands vote... some extra multiple votes wouldn't change the outcome.

Vote with your off button and don't watch the show. There are plenty of other topic's on TiBB to talk about other than BB.

And if you are that fed up I would suggest a name change too. :thumbs:

From my assumption you keep choosing unpopular people to like. E.g. those who choose to be horrible in the house to make some sort of impact. Or in other words, pathetic tools.

If multiple voting occured at a general election I think you would soon be shouting the word "corrupt". Of course it's corrupt.

Hate is a stronger emotion than love and as thus multiple voting can seriously skew the result outside of that of reality.

Another factor that multiple voting corrupts the result is the fact people vote (multiple vote) to win a bet.....All in all be it BB or other shows like the X facor multiple voting is a corrupt way of selecting a winner or loser.....

Just because your favorites get evicted, doesn't mean other peoples' favorites aren't still there, which is why other people keep watching. Your favorites going might give you less reasons to watch, but other people, say Rex and Darnell fans, might have more reasons to watch. Until it's gets down to the final, it's not a popularity contest, it's a unpopularity contest.

In BBUK4, my two top favorites, Federico and Jon, both went the same week (Week 4), in a double eviction! Very annoying, but I kept watching.

You seem to have forgotten the point. The point being the outcome we get from BB voting is not real due to the fact a corrupt voting system is allowed.....

No I haven't, I fully understand your point but disagree with it. I think if people vote more for one person (including multiple voting), then the result is just. Obviously people (including people who vote more than once) want that HM evicted moreso than others.

Mutliple voters don't just support one HM, there'll be the same amount of them supporting different housemates... there would've been multiple voters for Mario last week, for example.

Your assuming multiple voting is proportional. I believe strongly it is anything but......Hate is stronger than love.......just read the threads on forums in general to know that.. No doubt that I havent convinced you nor you I. Yeah ....Have to agree to disagree. :bigsmile:

The common problem is big characters evicted too early... if you can get that through to the general public then its problem solved... problem is that isn't going to happen

At least Luke will win! I can take comfort in that!! My favorite housemate of all will be the winner. I guess that almost makes up for all of the early evictions.

What would be the use of this TV show if the whole thing had to evolve around who you alone liked

I wouldn't say win, that spot is destined for Darnell :rolleyes:. Top 6, maybe.

He's 2nd according to the bookies but very close to Kathreya so I feel he will move up in good time. Kathreya was entertaining to begin with but now she's gotten a bit boring. In any case, she never could compare to Luke.
