Have you ever cried over a celebrity?

Be totally honest- have you ever cried over something a celebrity has done, when a celebrity died, or anything like that?

The night Britney Spears was sectioned in January I cried all night, non stop, I stayed up to await developments on her condition and what was happening. (Reports were being released that it was attempted suicide) so I was dead worried and just really sad.

Fom 22-07-2008 08:24 PM

I think ive been sad and cried once of a celebrity dying but I cant remember who. I would cry if Kelly Clarkson died =/ I would be in floods.

Spike 22-07-2008 08:24 PM

No, if you are going to cry over a celebrity you don't even know well then you lead a sad life.

Lauren 22-07-2008 08:25 PM

I don't think I have... unless they die.

Sarah. 22-07-2008 08:25 PM

Of course - for various reasons.
I cried after I met Chris Jericho, 'cause I was like overwhelmed and couldn't believe it.

Annie 22-07-2008 08:31 PM

I cried when Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt split up cos they were like the hollywood couple and I cried when Heath Ledger died - watched Brokeback Mountain just after it and cried some more.

Yes that might be sad crying at celebs but I cry at everything, constantly cry at Britains Got Talent or X Factor. Cry at every film practically...

I am just a crier! haha :pat:

Rocko 22-07-2008 08:35 PM

I don't know how that could be possible for me.

DamonJ 22-07-2008 08:37 PM

I also cried when Britney lost custody of Sean & Jayden, and I also cried when those amazing pictures of her at the event were released last week.

I am emotionally attached to her!

melanie 22-07-2008 08:39 PM

Princess 22-07-2008 08:43 PM

Ton loads of times. I cried when all my BB couples spilt up-especially Prestelle,I rang my mum when I found out and she thought I had I broken a leg or something because I sounded so hysterical!

I cried when Heath Ledger died and I cried loads after the Take That tour because it was over.

MarkWaldorf 22-07-2008 08:43 PM

I haven't cried but that night Britney went to hospital I felt like a small part of me had sort of 'died' on the inside.

EDIT: Actually, I have cried. When Jessica and Nick split up.

Ross 22-07-2008 08:46 PM

I cried when Britney lost her kids. Also I cried with happiness when Nadia won Big Brother.

That's it I think.

DamonJ 22-07-2008 08:46 PM

I also cried when the report was released that said Britney would only live for another six months if she carried on with her partying lifestyle.

Sarah. 22-07-2008 09:09 PM

lmaooo i can only imagine what its gonna be like when i meet him again in november.. it'll be his birthday and i'll be like crying and singing happy birthday at the same time.. whilst in a bar.. doing sudoku.. LOL. :|

Bigbrofanatic! 23-07-2008 10:59 AM

I cried when Richard Hammond had his accident.
I didnt cry but was sad and close to tears when Mark Speight died, also sad about Heath Ledger to.

Sophii3x 23-07-2008 02:17 PM

Yes, when Delta Goodrem was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago, I was only 12 and just completly devestated. Also when Steve Irwin died and when Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up.

xDramatick 23-07-2008 02:28 PM

Not really.
Most of the celebs I like haven't done anything worth crying over.
The only times I remember are;

- Heath Ledger dying.
- John Barrowman's dogs dying.

Otherwise, that's all I can think of.
If anything happened to John Barrowman, Zac Efron, Aubrey O'Day or Christina Aguilera, I would pour with tears.

Billy 23-07-2008 02:31 PM

Firewire 23-07-2008 09:24 PM

I cried Sam read Chanelle's goodbye note when she left BB. I was totally devastated.

Also when I was little I cried when the Iron Giant died in the animatecd movie The Iron Giant.

Also when Steve Irwin died I had a tear in my eye.

Legend 23-07-2008 09:32 PM

I've really no empathy in comparrison to some of you. To me, producing genuine tears over somebody I've never met in my life, I just couldn't do it if I tried, I really wouldn't find that possible to do. Yeah, I'll give an "aww" if a celeb dies but nothing more.

MrGaryy 23-07-2008 09:38 PM

I really don't care about any clebe that much. but is Christina Aguilera or Paris Hilton ever died or soemthing I'd cry. i cried when Paris was sent to jail!

How so?
How is having an emotion SAD? Isn't it sad being a closed hard rock forever?
So when a little child dies and its on the news... are we sad to cry? When a Iraqi family dies in the war are we wrong to cry cause we never knew them? That is so stupid.

-
I cried about celebrities... let's see: When I saw Aaliyah's mother kiss her coffin on a documentary it hit me hard, I cried when I heard Joaquin Phoenix's 911 call as his brother was dying on the street, I cried over some Marilyn Monroe tributes. I cried about all kinds of things. Maybe I am just an emotional wreck, lol.

I cried on a few documentaries or movies about other celebrities who passed away or had been through a rough time. Over non deaths but just circumstances: I cried when Michael Jackson was vindicated because I followed the trial and felt he was being publicly ridiculed and no one ever thinks to give him a chance - they have him as a child molesting freak and they will never budge from that image. I see him in a different light, I suppose I'm in the minority that does.
