definition of bullying
 

this is the persistant critising ridiculing and underming,which is designed to humiliate the person.
it could be verbal or physical intimidation.
most critical is that it makes the recipient feel upset,humiliated and vunerable.
the definition of bullyng is when someone deliberatly frightaens abuses,hurts another person physicaly,verbaly or mental.

Rex is bullying her, I don't care what anybody says.

i still dont think hes bullying her... i think if he was saying it to someone else and they didnt give the reaction she gave it wouldnt be seen as bullying

He was only telling thing how he saw it. His method leaves a lot to be desired but he is right.

It's bullying in my book, and I have seen bullying in School/college to know what bullying is.

yeah he is doing exactly that. he talks about how boring she is infront of everyone, humiliating her. and i think she responds too nice thats why he carries on. she will defend herself but never tells him to '**** off do you realise how offensive it is to say youd rather have scrabble than me'. i wish she would insult him back and tell him to **** off instead of worrying about herself.

the other day he apologised to her when he was talking about how boring she was and she started cryying and hes just done it again today! hes obsessed its like everyday..i mean wtf does he do thats so interesting

Rex isn't a bully
He just doesn't go about things in the right way like Darnell doesn't.
If he is bullying Rachel then the show should be took off because nobody can say the slightest thing without being accused of bullying

Rex was giving his opinion on what he saw! What did you expect him to do? He did set out to make Rachel cry (which I think was because she was found out). Rex is an honest guy who tells it like it is.

i thought rex was a bit harsh with everythig he did tonight but at the end of the day its a game and they should treat it like one instead of complaints and moaning and all that nonsense give it up already

Keep it to himself like a polite, civilised person? Is that too much to ask? Or maybe, make his point and then shut the **** up going on and on about it until he makes someone cry. Would that really have been so difficult?

It's almost like he sets out to upset her- which is why people think it's bullying. And honesty is no excuse at all. Would it be ok to go up to a fat person and repeatedly call them fat until they got angry or upset?! You'd be being honest. Does that make it ok? Does that excuse all behaviour no matter how awful, just because you're an 'honest guy'?!

Jeez...

An honest guy?! He was bullying, pure and simple. being a good old macho man talking down to her, hectoring her, without allowing her to get a word in edgeways. If he wanted to tell her how he saw it and not be bullying he would have allowed some comeback.

Over the years I have seen real bullying on rare occasions (against Shabaz springs to mind) but this was almost on a par in his efforts at humiliation. If he wanted to be honest and upfront he could have done so on a one-to-one basis, but he obviously likes the power that he has and used it, like the big boys at school against the vulnerable smaller boy - doing the humiliating in front of everybody.

i loved him enough to win...but hes nasty.. :/
its now getting in the same case as it was with luke and rebecca for me.
am not supporting rex anymore, but still a little bit unsure with him.

Rex didn't let her speak! I watched for 3 hours of LF and at obe point he wouldn't even let her talk, of course BB don't show all of this though, oh no :rolleyes:

But he gave her no opportunity to explain, he kept cutting her down when she tried to talk, he is bullying her, i agree with what she said it is hard to be a big character when there are some already around who get the attention, she may not be the way she is in her VT when around Rex but it doesn't mean she isnt like that when he's not around

Rex was just saying was everybody in the house was thinking, he could have said in with more finesse but at least he had the balls to say it.

None in house was thinking that though, just Rex, he is a prat.

I'm sure plenty of people thought what Rex said was true..Mo agrees, Luke, Bex agreed, Dale..Sure the rest think it aswell.

Actually Mo, after a while was on Rachel's side, he told her not to worry about it.

I think people should be more worried about Dale VT then Rachel's, his was far worse.

Well whatever people think about Rex, at the end of the day, he said what he felt he needed to say...and is the only housemate to do this.

Shes had plenty of chances to tell Rex exactly what she thinks, But she won't because she wants to keep her nicey nicey image with the public. She's just weak.

If someone spoke to me the way Rex spoke to Rachel I wouldn't have let him get away with it.

That's you, not Rachel, we are all different, she was sticking to her guns, it has nothing to do with keeping her nicely imgaine to the public. She stood her ground and didn't give in to Rex. And for about half and hour he wouldn't let her talk, he kept talking over her. It has nothing to do with her being weak.

We all think we are right that is the problem...

Regardless of if he is right or wrong Rex persued tha matter byond the level of acceptability to the point where he was trying to humilate her. Demanding she confessed. Who the hell does that creep think he is.......If I had been Rachel and by the way she is not a favourite housemate of mine I would have told him to go forth and multply...

If she really wanted top get her point across she'd have done it, Regardless of whether or not Rex was talking over her.

She did, and she tired to, you heard what she said about not being able to say what you want because of getting shouted down.

Rex was so nasty to her, he made up lairs about her as well, and said she is 50 times worse then Bex, WTF? IMO and book, he is a bully.

And IMO he's not, so lets just leave it at that.

Indeed he went well byond what a decent human being would have done....Dales audition was far worse than Rachels but he didn't pick on Dale relentlessly.....Rex male Rachel female Rex Bully........Rex male Dale male Rex no bullying of Dale = Rex a coward who picks on women.....

rex had no right saying that, she wasnt even that different in the video! they made out she was acting like a slag or something, ok shes alittle different in the house but so would i be because you dont know what to expect when you get in there and i can bet that all the housemates played it up on the video just to get on bb but you didnt c him going on and on to anyone eles, look at dales and rex didnt say anything to him, dale out!

well rex is speaking his mind what he thinks about what he saw he didnt say it behind ne ones back (like darnell).

he was waay to harsh with it but spoke what he felt none the less.
