So you find £50 on the floor...what do you do?
There's been quite a few occasions that I'm strolling down the street with my friends and one of them, (the b*stards...never me, my head's always staring up at the clouds) finds notes on the floor. From £5 to £20. And the amazingly honest people that we are, we end up using it ourselves for TAXI money.
What would you do if you found £50 (two twenties and a ten) on the floor of an empty street? (No wallet/identification) (one time I found a £10 note but I swear it was actually mine that fell from my jeans...I still felt a bit guilty though not checking) |
go spend it or take it home and spend it another day
keep it
Finders keepers baby
I would keep it :conf:
I'd donate it to charity, I don't have much need for money now.
Keep it 100%, gimme more!
I would leave it there.
LOL. Because if i picked it up. i wouldnt give it in, and thats mean, so i would leave it there. LOL |
Pick it up of course. One mans loss is another mans gain.
Keep it cos if i lost money i know i wouldn't get it back.

I would 100% keep it. |
Lol, you lot make me feel better about those free taxi fare days.
I'm going to stare at the pavement more often now. |
I would pick it up and get to the shops as fast as I can.
Keep it. Money is money, no one can come back to claim it and if you didn't pick it up the next person would of.
Keep it every time. I could do with that happening to me.
If I saw the person who dropped it, I would hand it back
Like in HMV, I found a pound, then I saw a kid looking for something and my brain said "Give it back" so I did :spin: |
I found £20 in town one time, I seen it fall out of the pocket of the person who dropped it but I stood on it and pretended to look at something else, then picked it up a few minutes after :joker:
It was his own fault, but if it was a female that dropped it I would have actually given it her back |
KEEP IT
I would keep it, but if I saw a wallet then I would give it in.
keep it
i would feel guilty though, but have a sleep, then i would get over it :thumbs2: |
If it was on its own then keep it... actualy thinking of it. If it was in a wallet I would probably still keep it lmao. Hand in the wallet and say "No there was no money in it" lmao... thats bad :blush2:
Keep it. If i lost £50, i'm pretty sure I wouldn't get it back.
Tbh i would keep it.
 |
Keep it; even if there was and identification or anything with it.
Well, firstly I'd go and exchange it for Australian money and then either spend it or just keep it for whatever else.
keep it, finders keepers, losers weepers xx
I would keep it
Keep it. But the most I've ever found is 2 quid :(
keep it but if it i knew it was my mates or family i wouldnt
I would keep it unless I knew whose it was but it would be rare to find £50 on the floor
I just couldn't keep it, what goes around comes around and all that. lol
Keep it if there was no identification. If there was I would hand it back.
Keep it. loll Unless I saw someone drop it.

This actually happened to me once! Except it was $50 instead of 50 pounds because I'm an American. I asked "Excuse me, did anyone drop some money?" A man claimed it and gave me $2 as a thank you for giving it back to him. But I did feel good that I did the right thing.
Edit: Wow, I just read the other answers and I'm shocked! Don't you people have any morals? How'd you like it if you dropped 50 pounds and the person who found it decided just to keep it? |

I would keep it.
