It's tough competition with Brian Dowling and Kate Lawler, all 3 were decent people who provided good entertainment and showed solid character. I'm not saying Rachel isn't the best, I'm just pointing out she's clearly a superior winner to the ones listed.

She was better than Pete and Brian, but that's it.

everyone of those winners except cameron were better than rachel i loved rachel so happy she won would have preffered someone else to wi (jen rex or dale or sara or stu or steph) sorry but thats my opinion and i think that nadia was a better winner than rachel she had great highs and lows was funny and was just loveable to this day i cant watch the video of her winning wthout welling up

Kate, Brian (BB2) and Nadia are the best winners. I would say rachel takes 5th Behind Craig because she is nice, but she did not do much in the form of entertainment, the reason I watch the show.

As for Nadia, he's the most over rated HM of all time. All he did was scream for cigarettes and act silly. He truly never offered anything profound to BB5 apart from sticking his veg between his legs and wearing a dress.

Nadia offered nothing profound. What about rachel. She is nice, but that is it, she was one of the dullest this year, if she hadn;t of won, she would have been forgotten about in years to come.

Deserving of the money, Rachel is certainly more deserving than Brian and Anthony I can tell you that. She'll at least make good use of her money rather than blowing it all on ladies, parties, and alcohol.

I think shes more deserving than all the winners except Nadia.

She proved she was genuine- and didnt change for anyone. Even with 100,000 quid at steak, she didnt change. She set a good example for younger viewers, and still had her funny moments

Im not saying she was the most entertaining, but I still stick to the fact she is one of the most deserving winners ever. At last- the public rewarded a nice person. The reaction from Bex, LUke, Jen, Dale and all that nasty lot was rewarding on its own.

She's a good winner but she's not more deserving then Craig and Nadia. They were great winners.

Yeah I'd put Kate and Brian Dowling ahead of Rach, that's all though. Kate would be my favourite. I was never a big fan of Brian's, but appreciate he was a great HM.

Kate! I forgot about her, She was a good winner. I was never much of a fan of Brian though, I wanted Helen to win.

This is why I slowly lost interest in the show.

BB 2 and 3 had amazing HMs. Then the show went from what it was originally (a psychological experiment about REAL people) to a freak-show.

This year brought it back to basics for me. Sure, we had an albino, a blind man the the terribly stereotypical bitchy over-the-top gay guy, but no real "freaks". I'm thinking along the lines of marco, mary (the irish witch - oh dear) and nadia.

Since psychology is my area of work, I'm completely biased towards "interesting developments" over "oh he's the hottest... he's the gayest... he's the loudest...etc".

They brought back the intereting, culturally different, mixed-class variety of housemate this year... and I salute them for it.

I think it's like baking, in order to make the best food you need a delicate mix. having a few 'freaky' HM's is good but like you said you do need normal people to balance it out. BB7 was one of my favourite series but I did think it had too many 'freaky' characters in it.

But then again you can't have too many normal characters wither or you'll end up with BB4. It'll be interesting to see what mix of HM's they go for next year.

Personally, I'd like to see a wider mix of nationalities. Get a couple of Irish in there for starters. Perhaps another ozzy and american. Less of the good lookers, more of the interesting.

I understand that someone like dale attracts the young girls, but I didn't find anything interesting about him at all. As soon as Stu entered the house, Dale became obsolete. Stu had better physical qualities, then added some depth too. If that can happen to you, you have no place in the BB house, imo.

I agree, get some Irish people in there they haven't had good repesentation in the last few years (Spiral is the only HM I can think of). I do agree with the point about Dale and Stuart, Together I thought they was great but seperately they were kind of boring.

I used to live very close to Spiral. He's such an embarassment. Before him was Mary (the witch) - wtf was that about? Then you had the good ones like Ray and Anna (I think both came 2nd?), and of course Brian, who won BB3... or was it 2?

the only person that deserved the crown as much as anthony in bb6 was orlaith for the **** she was put through in that house and all the lies that was made about her

anthony and orlaith were the only genuine,real decent people in the house that year and the public knew that,and orlaith walked so i wanted anthony to win and i think he really deserved it that year,why who do use think deserved it over him then,dont even bother saying eugine,as he was probably the most boring housemate that year,god knows why he was liked

I wish they would put a hot guy in, but one that does not realise he is hot, and is funny, smart and nice. I want BB10 to be the year of breaking stereotypes. like the one I mentioned and maybe a gay man that is one of the starightest acying/looking men around, a geeky girl who is popular, a chav who is actually kind hearted and polite, etc.
