Keep Gettin\' Better v Gimme More
 

So Christina + Britney both recently (well Britney was last year but sh) made comebacks to the Music Industry. Which comeback single do you prefer?

Isn't it called Keeps Getting Better? I'm so confused I'm hearing so many names for it.

Anyway, I prefer Gimme More hands down.

EW, How can you compare Keep Gettin' Better to Gimme More, I mean I heart Xtina n'all but Gimme More was/it AMAAAAZIIING. And KGB is just meh.

I wouldn't say Christina's was a "comeback". Back to Basics was less than 2 years ago...

But atm I'd have to say Gimme More...I'm waiting for KGB to grow on me.

And I would thought that was Lady Gaga if I wasn't told it was xtina. If shes gonna do electro music, at least get your own style.

That picture's a bit petty given a certain Ms. Spear's fluctuating weight and appearance in the past few years (conveniently after that picture was taken). Christina's just had a baby.

I don't know it atall. It's a black leather suit, I doubt Christina thought "lets copy Britney".

I dont even want to argue because I like Christina. Stripped is one of my fav albums. Just that performance wasn't very original in my opinion. Its Lady Gaga 2.0

IMO GM is a much better song then KGB.

I love Christina but she looked more like Lady Ga Ga then Britney.

Gimme More WITHOUT a doubt xtinas song hasnt grown on me at all.... as for this whole whos better thing... they are BOTH fantastic but imo Britney is the best dancer and xtina the best singer and Britney has had great songs i have liked ALL her songs where as xtins i only like a few

The difference is that Christina didn't have anything to comeback from. She actually managed to maintain a successful career.

Gimme More, but Keeps Gettin' Better is just behind.

I said Christina danced great, so don't make it seem as if I'm being cruel to Christina. All I said was I noticed a comparison and people jumped on me for it.

And that's pretty ironic coming from Christina's fans on here, who didn't even post in the VMA thread about Britney's wins -and instead rushed to make a thread comparing the two. I like Christina, and its being made out as if I don't like her.

And no you don't, but you said it was nice to see a fan who thought of them in both a positive light - when you posted the other day that you "loved" being the bearer of bad news and you hadn't posted in the thread. Just seemed a bit weird.
And some people on here can't handle the fact that she's coming back stronger. Its not you, but theres a few.

Besides we all know she only won because of who she is, not what she does.

I really can't stand all this hate for Britney lately, she won becuase she's good at what she does Gazbo. Yes, she's had bad press the last year but she won them three moonmen because she deserved them. People obviously liked the video for POM and I can see why.

I never said I hate Britney, I don't own all her albums for nothing. I think POM is a great video and it's a pity that she only won because of her name rather than her music.

Most of her videos are iconic...and she's never won ANY. 10 years and zilch. Who cares about a Jonas Brothers video? Nothing special. Britneys videos have always created buzz and are always remembered. She always put in effort and was often behind directing. She deserved those awards for all the times she missed out. I don't care what anyone says.

I never said you hated her, I just said I didn't like all the hate in general for her on this forum lately. I personally think she won because it was a good video, yes she obviously had loads of her fans voting for her but I can imagine people just generally loving the video and voting for her because they like the video.

And Britney actually had the most public votes in EACH catergory. She averaged about 800,000 votes each time. The people behind her had 500,000. She deserved them if the majority voted her.

What does time have to do with it. It just shows that she simply wasn't good enough the other times.

Doesn't prove she wasn't good enough, proves MTV made a mistake. If Toxic didn't win one, I hate to think what did. That video is one of her finest.
