I came in after the Nasty Nic incident, as from what I had heard I thought the nominations and the eviction for that week should have been cancelled as it had been influenced by a cheat.

Incidentally in one of these top ten TV programmes C5 occasionally do, Nasty Nick came about number six in top ten TV villains

I loved the interview he gave later with Davina, especially when she asked if he was a plant for Channel 4, (Probably asked to dispel some of the rumours on the net at that time), and he responded, "No Channel 5"

Her face for one brief instance was a site to behold

_Tom_ 15-09-2008 07:40 AM

No, I didn't!

Jackie 15-09-2008 08:33 AM

Benjamin 20-09-2008 04:04 PM

for those of you who never watched/want to see it again, here is the first EVER eviction in Big Brother UK, when Sada was evicted over Caroline.

I miss the bridge they had to cross.

oh, oh, oh and I found the best clip from Big Brother, Carolines interview when it was revealed to her about Nick cheating and back stabbing her, and the first public hate of Nick (and the first chants of Get Nick out).

and her best bits/laugh crack me up. Legend h/mate.

BB1 was brilliant, because they didn't have a clue about gameplans, camera-sense, etc. The nasty nick episode, when Craig unmasked his dastardly plans, was proper classic tv drama.

They all took books into the house that year, and sat around reading.

How times have changed ...

It was gripping too with Nick cheating

Its a gameshow which a lot of people forget these days

AndyJK 01-07-2009 04:26 PM

I watched it for most part and wanted Nick to win. I have always had a fondness for the so-called baddies. The way Craig exposed Nick's plot could not have been scripted any better. Here with millions of people watching was a working class brickie trouncing an ex-public school boy with articulacy and diplomacy. There was something chivalrous about the whole way Craig went about it and you have to think what a top man. Even though I was disappointed Nick's plan had been foiled it was a great BB moment if not one TV's greatest moments.

I do have series 1 on DVD and it's still great to watch the highlights again. I loved the old house in Bow. It's the second best series of the lot, beaten by BB 2. If you're a BB fan it's worth buying the DVD and having a look.

Jayson 01-07-2009 04:30 PM
