Absent mindedly giving out phone numbers...
 

Is this worth an argument?

My girlfriend found a message from a girl I had apparently disappeared off with during the night for a couple of hours, given her my name, number.

But that doesn't mean anything right? Everytime someone whips out their phone for my number I just type it in. Just being social, you know?

She was with some other girls and just taking picture after picture after picture. She came over, started talking...then dancing...for a bit..then I left with the guys to go to another bar and came back an hour later.

Being in a well iffy suspicious mood, was questioning it and wouldn't let it drop. :/. I didn't even think anything of it. I just read the message, saw the picture and didn't reply. Haha, I didn't even remember who the girl was till she sent the pic.

Left my phone when I went to the toilet only to find my girlfriend checking my messages. Why like? I don't read hers.

Giving someone your number can mean you're just giving it as a friend, dosnt mean you want a relationship or a one night out or anything :\

i know everyones saying theres nothing wrong with giving your number out but personally ifi was in a club and some random guy id never met came over and asked my my number id tell him where to go,surely im not the only one.Fair enough if its someone you know or even someone you`ve just seen or spoken to on the net before but not just some random

I wouldn't give my number out in a club or anything. Just cos I wouldn't want to speak to them further? I'm in a club to have a fun time with mates, not to meet people. Guess that bit is different for others though.

i'm the same. i'll only ask someone in a club for their number if ive spoken to them all night or something. i'd only give it out in the same situation. i'd never give it out over the internet though, ok yes people can go on webcam and prove their real etc but i'm still a bit wary about it, i don't trust people on the internet with things like that.

plus i would be annoyed if my bf gave out his number to a random,i trust him but you have to think 'why would you give you rnumber out to a random?'

I only think one person on TiBB has my number [hannah]...because I texted her when she posted it in a MSN convo.
