Is Britney Spears over airbrushed?
 

Airbrush me baby one more time, Britney Spears has appeared in some pictures looking like a goddess.

But are they over doing the airbrushing?

It's 2008, everyone is airbrushed nowdays.

Way to much unnecessary airbrushing, she doesn't need that much done to her, infact it makes her look not so flattering.

That's ONE photo. I'm guessing you haven't seen the other Circus promos?

It's hardly a dig. Why do you always take things about Britney so personally? It's not even Britney's decision to look like that, it's all down to the marketing and advertising.

Britney's beautiful and looks amazing at the moment, so yeah I think the excessive airbrushing is unnecessary.

That's exactly my point. It was ONE photo, and he's making out as if she's always airbrushed to look beautiful.

This thread along with the "Which is better- Leona Lewis or Brittany Spears", along with the fact that he knows there's quite a bit of hatred of Britney on the forum. So yea, I'm classing it as a dig.

I'm just curious as to why one of Britney was made. She isn't the only celebrity to be airbrushed?

Just a question, I just thought they were a bit over done, they sort of look odd. It's a forum after all, nothing wrong with asking questions.

Yeh I agree. Specially with the first thing. Its someones opinion, you can love her but people can not like her if they don't want to, its not like you know her. I spose it would be fine to stick up for somesome so much If you knew them. :)

Did you know there's not been ONE front cover of a woman's magazine that the model had not been airbrushed on? I frankly find that rather shocking. How can the models be happy with themselves when their best is not the best?

I don't see the need for it, it just makes people that look at the pictures feel they are ugly if they have any kind of imperfection or a wrinkle or two.

It's not like she looks ugly in the before picture, in fact she looks good, so why bother.

celebrities are airbrushed often now.. i dont think its appropriate as she looks great already but thats what is being done.. as for digitally enhancing i do a little of that to my pictures to wipe out blemishes and give the picture more colour

Seeing as if it wasnt britneys album cover, I had no idea it was her on that picture.
Then I say yes, too much airbrushing! I dont even know why!
Airbrushing is fine to hide imperfections,just like make up. I dont mind! But that picture looks like a totally different person!

In some pictures like the Circus cover art I think so yes.

I was in the local co-op (we have a temporary one, while they rebuild the one that burnt down, it's a giant tent) and your right all but Okay Magazine had air brushed pictures on the covers.

How unreal.

I didn't think they'd be re-building the old Co-op again so soon. You must be relieved. :thumbs2:

According to the staff at the giant tent it should be rebuilt and open sometime during the summer, however you know what these things are like it's more likely to sometime in the autumn. But the tent is okay for now, it still has a better range of goods than Tesco's.

I remember when you or Kiz posted a thread and even though I live nowhere near I got really depressed & emotional and I was like "Those poor people :bawling:"

It was a bit of disaster Tesco's was crazy for months and you couldn't park on a saturday and they kept running out of trolleys. They had to get extra staff in from other Tesco's in the region to work on the tills.

The old co-op was a real mess:

They had no choice be to pull the place down.

Britney Spears to Co-Op...

Loves it.

She shops there, didn't you know..... she often been seen popping in to the co-op and buying amazing amounts of Coke.

Anything is better than the bald look she gave herself, the stupid bitch. i guess she's got herself back on track now and out of rehab.
