2008 - Worst year of the decade?
 

So we have 1 week and 6 days left of 2008....
This year has been the year of the credit cruch and crap summer....in other words...quite depressing

Whats your opinion on it?

Its been boring and **** for me i cant think of anything that has gone my way this year. So yeh this has been awful for me...

Call of Duty 4 was pretty good.

Not much else...

Actually i did start driving an i absolutely love dirving sooo.. im unsure really.


Next year will hopefully be top...

Once christmas is over i want 2008 to finish screw every day after boxing day lol.

It's been an amazing year!!!

Personally I've:

Finished school and graduated
Did all my exams
Got decent enough grades
Got into my dream uni
Loving my course and uni
Turned 18
Had a great holiday in London
Got tickets for all my concerts.

Next year will be even better!

on things like crap summer and credit crunch its been pretty bad although not as bad as previous years imo
and on a personal level 2008 has on the most part been a good year which makes a change for me:laugh:

I havent had a top year really...its been quite empty
Early 2008 felt like the year was gonna be a good one...that never came

I've loved most of it.

Left school, prom, and all other stuff like that.
Started college which has been ok.
Been loads of good tv and films to keep me entertained too.

i actually cant believe less than a fortnight left of 2008 :sad: time is going too fast

Mines been quite bad.

But next year:

GCSE's over
Go To College
Start Driving lessons
Have Prom
Leave School

Yeah i agree with chewy it started off really good but has ended horribly
I just hope 2009 is better

I have enjoyed this year.

Looking forward to next year for my mum but it's going to be a rollercoaster, hopefully ending on the best high I could ever hope for.

Its been mixed. I look at it as good sometimes but also bad sometimes.

It's by far, been the best year of the decade.

- Came out to all my mates.
- Came out to mother.
- Got with my boyfriend.
- Amazing year for music.
- Finished school.
- Prom.
- Started college.
- Loads of shows.
&lots more.

I've really enjoyed it. So much stuff has gone right and turned out well this year. I'm sad it's ending, but also scared because I don't want 2009 to be a bad year after such a good one.

No been quite good really. 2006 was a bad year as I recall

This year has not been great-bad break up with my boyfriend but over all not bad!Last year was far worse for me coz my brother passed away but 2009 will be amazing!

For me, probably.

It's been a good year looking back. Well a few things were awful but I have enjoyed it.

Next year is going to be fun.

Overall, it's not been a very good year, but last year was worse for me personally, because my mum and dad split up x

2008 for me... Started on a high then went into freefall :laugh:

Nooo, for me it's been the best year of my life;
- I met Chris Jericho, twice =p that made my year lol. <33
- I got to meet loads of WWE superstars.
- I went to 5 WWE shows and had f'n AWESOME seats for them all.
- I left school!
- I made some amazing friends.
- I saw 2 of my favourite bands live, Stuck Mojo & The Luchagors, got to meet them both.

& more but those are the main pointss.

personally its been full of highs and lows but mainly highs,theres only really been one main event thats ruined it for me,but maybe it will turn out for the ebst anyway

yeah 2008 hasnt been a highlight or anything.

2009 will be a good year for me:

Go back to New York & get to go to Las Vegas aswell
Start my last year at high school
Start driving
and loads more, but for some reson cant remember. lol

It started off really bad but the last 3 months were good. Wouldn't say it was the worst of the decade but it won't exactly be on my list of favourite years

I've really loved it.

Fairly bad year, nothing really worked out for me. Plus we had a terrible summer and the economic recession is getting everyone down. Hopefully next year is better.

Absolute rubbish

I would have to have liked to of done more but I have still achieved a lot and done a lot and not sat on this forum like some people, wasting life.

It's just one big social event innit - 2008!

The first 9 or so months were awful. Things perked up in October when I started 2nd year of uni and came out to everyone and found David! :bigsmile:

Its been really bad this year :( Oh well, there were some good bits :cheer::banana: and Christmas is still to come!!!

Nah, I liked '08! :)

Its the worst year of my life.. first Dad got ill and was in hospital for over 3 weeks after just being diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatus [sp]. Then my Nan got really ill and passed away holding my hand in August :(
Now my auntie is sick and its gonna be a crapp xmas as my other nan died on that day, yep 2008 = worst year ever.

2008 for me has been "meh". lol. Nothing too bad..nothing too good. I had my maths GCSE, but I did well, and I got mugged, but I got a new phone. :/ Like..it's been bad but okay as well. I will look back on 2008 as the year I couldn't really care about. Roll on 2009! I reallyy hope the weather is better and this stupid recession goes away. I have high hopes for 2009. It'll probably be crap though. lmao.

I turn 19 at the start, I move out towards the end of the year. New life begins!

Best year of of my life. Most emotional year year of my life. Have achieved so much. And it's been fantastic for music.

It's been okay, not too bad but not too great either.

I turn 19 early next year too! What day's your birthday? mine's new year's day.

lots of great parties.
