Its just because some people are trying to get Alex's single down. Its a ridiculous attempt, because the xfactor sigle always beat other contenders by a lot for the christmas #1. But the best they can do is 2. SO good luck to them. Its not gonna stop the success of alex's

Music snobbery.

Not really. My objection to Alex's version is the key change signalling the arrival of the big production. I think the song is a strong enough song not to have needed it. But it's like the producer read something like 'Power ballads for Dummies' and then followed it step by step. The Violins, the harps, the choir none of those were needed. That production could have been done on any piece of sh*t song but instead they decided to murder a much loved song. Surely they must realise some people were not going to like that.

i prefere jeffs version and downlaoded it this morning although i do like alexandras as well but jeff has the edge
on the tv last night they were saying its looking to be like the first time 2 versions of the same song make christmas 1 and 2 in the charts

I want Jeff to get to #1 but I know its never going to happen so I'll still be happy with #2.
