Some posters...
 

On here don't get enough credit for what they post.

I've seen alot of members lately, post valuable points about the subject in hand and they get totally blanked out by other users who either started the thread/has something bad to say about the point originally made.

Seriously, this isn't me having or go or to start another arguement or whatever and I'm not saying you should reply to everyones posts but I mean, some of yeh (maybe I could included in this) need to step back and stop quoting the same people over and over again and actually read what some members have to say. They are generally on topic and are amazing posts that you can read, wether you disagree or agree or agree to disagree. They float about on here, causing no drama and don't even get recognized.

I agree, it seems to be a lot of the members who don't really have a big ego and some which don't really speak to other members away from the forum.

It would be nice for everyone to be included in discussions.

I think a lot of members make Brilliant posts, which get overshadowed by a few who make stupid, irrelivant posts

Such as.....

I think one of the members included in this would actually be Michelle, I really respect her. She makes relevant, really interesting posts and I really don't think she gets the credit she deserves.

Every member makes an irrelevant post at some point.

You can't blame people for talking to certain people. Members are bound to have got closer to certain members over a period of time.

If you feel people get overshadowed then vote them in the TiBB Nominations or something, a good way to recognise good posts.

I don't think it's fair for me to mention names... it would be unfair because they might not want to get their name splattered all over the thread.

If you read enough peoples posts, you'd see who I mean.

I think there are there is one person in particular who makes really good posts.

Only problem with that though is that some members are still likely to vote for their forum favourites.

no, but i think even if you only get one vote, you'd still be nominated at least, so thats still good for them.

100% agree with you. Theres quite a few great posters here who seem to get shoved aside and its not very fair. It's good to have friends on here and stuff, but its not good when they're literally the only people you talk to.

I think david is the most overshadowed poster on this forum and he comes out with brilliant posts and I have hardly ever talked to him

For "them" now I don't think it's fair to make them sound like aliens.

All I'm saying is people need to pay more attention to what posts people make. You either listen or ya don't.

it probably does to the person who recieves the vote, they get to see the recognition for themselves, that can mean everything despite being just one vote amongst many.

Yeah David has settled down a lot, I enjoy his posts more. =D

That's another thing, members shouldn't be afraid of what another member is going to say to them... it's your opinion, if they don't like it then that is their problem. :thumbs: :hug:

pinkmichk, Sticks, GhettoSuperstar, rayheartbliss and Corkie, taking a few examples, are people who frequently post and rarely get credit for it. I'd also like to take the time to ask people, what is the point in picking on the likes of Conzors, Firewire and Lewis all the time? Seriously, it's the Internet - don't take it so seriously. I'm willing to bet most of the people who I see treating those three like crap wouldn't be like that in real life, I doubt anybody is that cold hearted that they can slate someone so easily to their face, so why should you do it over the Internet? Particularly when you consider how (relatively) young Firewire and Lewis are, it's despicable.

What Ross is saying that some posts are getting overshadowed and ignored by other members when sometimes what the person is trying to say is a very good and valid point.

When other members get all of their posts replied to whether they're of relevance or not.... I think.

i think i know what 'ya mean.i hate it when someone's making their point and then somone quote's them and says nothing but "ILY" when practically every other member in the thread is making the same point,its so pointless.

Aww Thanks Zee! i know that sometimes i come up with Crazy ideas that are really rubbish... But i am learning, i have only been here 5 months! To be fair, i think that i can be a good poster sometimes?
