Obviously most of you didnt get the point of this thread. The point is, she went and shaved her head, 99% of people with cancer do that, if they are losing their hair, but they stay home, wear a wig or a hat. BUt not Jade, she goes to the NOW, makes a photoshoot with her newly shaved hair, and exploit it with a full story on the paper. I dont feel sorry for her whatsoever given how she exploits her disease for money.

The title doesn't really bother me...I just feel sorry for her. Whether she exploits it or not, she's still a woman with cancer. I don't see why she doesn't heal in peace but she's a celebrity so it's probably best for her image.

How many celebrities with cancer have you seen exploit their disease? For me, its the one and only time I have ever seen it. Celebrity or non celebrity as a matter of fact.

I can't say I have seen one...the only one I can think of is Patrick Swayze, but he hasn't exploited it its really the press coverage around it.

Exactly. He doesnt even talk about it. Most normal people keep all this stuff in the family. BUt just judging by some of the comment on here, Jade obviously knows her audience, and will exploit them for the last dime.

AMA you best not make judgements upon her you don't know her personally and to do so in times like these reflects badly only on you. Even if she is exploiting her illness don't you think she is doing so for her family? We've all read the reports. she said it's not looking good. Don't you think she might be trying to prepare her family financially for the worst?

Like her or not, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, she's got two young boys for christ sake. Have a little compassion man!

I would have compassion for her, if she wasnt doing photoshoots exploiting her disease. No matter how you put it, the fact is, she is exploiting a terrible disease. She is doing it for herself. Her family isnt gonna be poor.
I am really not interested in what she has to say, on a weekly basis in tabloid papers, or seeing her glamorous photoshoot.

At the end of the day there's a 40% survival rate so I doubt she's exploiting her disease to buy herself a new handbag. Saying she's doing it for herself is quite horrible, she's obviously doing it for her kids and you or me or anyone else would do the same in her shoes. She doesn't come from money she's the only person in money in her family so it's not surprising she's doing what she does to make money for the best possible life for her kids.

You'd call a woman with cancer a media *****? You'd say it was all a stunt? That's sick.

It's a sign that you have NO parental instincts at all. There's never 'enough money' when kids are involved if you were in her shoes would you say 'that's enough for my kids' no you wouldn't you would make as much money as possible so they can lead a secure and happy life. She's not being greedy if she's doing it for her children.

I think you need to try and put yourself in other people's shoes for once instead of passing judgement on them.

Her cancer is obviously not a stunt, but going into the indian BB house right before she knew her results were due to come back, is a stunt. If you cant see it, youre very naive.
furthermore, Anyone with values, and morals wouldnt have themselves plastered all over newspapers exploiting their cancer for cash. Thats that. As for getting all the money as possible, some people would do whats morally right, and taking glamour shots, with my newly shaved head due to cancer, to me is the lowest of a long list of lows for Jade.

And of course I didnt read it. I am not interested in anything Jade has to say, as I know its all for sympathy, and cash.

I'm pretty sure she is just raking as much money as she can, so if she does die, her boys have money to fall back on, and that they are financially supported for if the crucial time comes.

Exactly. People don't realise just how much CBB dented Jade's income. She needs to earn now more than ever. It;s not like she can go and get a job down in Tesco can she? And it;s not like any magazine is going to want to talk about anything other than her cancer.

Exactly. Her ENTIRE sum of money she would have earned for Celebrity Big Brother was donated to charities, her products were whipped from shelves, her bank balance would have suffered drastically. I support and respect Jade that she is getting money together to support her children.

Not only that, but she had to spend money she no longer had on things like care insurance, mortgage, health insurance, ect. that she had previously been able to afford because she had a regular flow of money.

I'm a huge Jade fan and very much respect her for all she's been though and managing to remain a nice person.

I read this in the newspaper this morning and I have to say I dont understand how people can still show no compassion for Jade Goody.She has admitted in her interview that she has sold the pics of her after loosing her hair purely for financial reasons and ffs good for her,she has done the right thing she has two little boys and a family to worry about.For gods sake the woman just wants to make sure that after/if she dies then her boys will grow up with the childhood she never had.
By selling her 'story' Jade is raising awareness of Cervical cancer ,particularly to the younger generation,including myself who prior to watching her documentary and reading her mag and newspaper interviews did not know a great deal about the disease.Surely this can only be a good thing.
I thank Jade for speaking up about her illness and I pray she`ll make it through her battle with cancer for the sake of her sons if nothing else.You can call Jade whatever you like but at the end of the day the girl is dying show some compassion.

She said exactly that in her newspaper interview and good for her I say.She might not be the sharpest tool in the box we all know that but after watching her tv documentary and reading some of her interviews I think shes a fantastic mam and she just wants the best for her boys

She did recently open a new Salon for males Fomme Fatal, but has had to take a step back due to her illness so her business partner does most of the work. I doubt she gets much from it.

Its such a shame.
