Voices on Audio
 

I always thought my voice seemed fine until I heard it recorded.... is it really that bad?? Has anyone ever heard themselves on audio and think you sound really different.

My voice on audio, I got to admit sounds a bit camp when I sound completely normal.... is that really what others hear?? That is creepy!

Im actually really aware now, i sound horrible!!

Yeah, I think I sound normal in my mind.
But I sound soo gay/girly lol.

I sound hotter and more manly because I have such a deep voice and a really strong welsh accent. :tongue:

I hate my accent on audio, I sound nasal and thick.

My voice sounds deep on audio. Everyone kept saying that on TiBB X Factor a few years ago. :blush:

Glad its not just me, I feel a bit paranoid because of how people actually hear me.... when listening to my friends they seem normal, does that mean i seem normal to them because they hear me everyday?

Oh god yeah! My friends always say how different I sound on the phone.

I hear my own voice so often now it doesn't bother me.

So would that mean we would sound different on the phone compared to when you talking face to face to your friends... i hope its just an audio thing.

How you sound on audio/camera is usually what you sound like to other people, it wouldn't lie lmao.

Yep I do sound gay/camp.

I heard that only you can hear your voice they way you hear it. Something to do with hearing from inside and hearing it our ears as well.

The way we all sound on audio is our normal voice apprentley!

It doesn't lie it just doesn't pick up all of the sounds you make thats all so you sound slightly different

I remember when I talked to you on Skype I was really surprised!

I've got a horrible voice, its all wispy and quiet and high but low at times. Simply awful.

The last time I heard myself recored was when I was in P7..I sounded SO posh :blush2:

Because usually people dont have sound rooms (like in recording studios) they dont really hear their 'real voice'

I hate my voice when it has been recorded. I sound so different.

I sound like a 5 year old girl apparently, my mates are so nice ain't they. But apparently in real life face to face my voice is sexy, great.

I'm self-conscious about hearing my voice on audio, mainly cos people used to take the mickey out of me and imitate my voice when I was at school. I once got told I have an accent similar to Anthony from BB6 as I'm from the North-East like him. I also remember when I was younger and people said me and my brother sounded similar over the phone, before my brother's voice broke - my Grandad and my friend both got us confused at times in conversations!

I asked my friend and he said i sound normal, and i said, but do i sound gay? and he was like No! and he normally tells the truth, so i guess its just me who thought i sounded weird.

Omfg!!!!! That is SO wierd! My and my friends were talking about this yesterday! We even did a boive recording to see how bad it was lol x
