Music people never associate you with
 

Some bands people never really associate me with listening to...
for example I'm a big Britney Spears and Mcfly fan but no one realizes.
Are there any bands like that with you?

I don't think anyone here knows I have a deep deep obsession with Shania Twain and Whigfield.

LOL loads.

Oasis, Scouting For Girls, Savage Garden, Justin Timberlake.

Some of them are above Britney and other female singers on my lastfm and everyone is suprised.

Hmm people are pretty surprised to know I like Oasis, Paramore, Rufus Wainwright, Daft Punk, ect.

Bullet For My Valentine, Lykke Li, The Smiths, Paris Hilton... :love:

Anything that isn't Take That. People are amazed to know I love bands like Bon Jovi,Queen,Stereophonics etc.

No one ever thinks I adore Slipknot, System of a Down, Metallica, Prodigy, Pendulum, Avenged Sevenfold...

Metal music and classical are ones that surprise people most usually. I listen to lots of it =D

I like a lot of rock/indie/punk-pop music but people always associate me with just mainstream pop or w/e.

I'm not huge fans but I reguarly listen to The Killers, Evanescence, Bloc Party, Paramore, Linkin Park and Ladyhawke for example.

People seem to think that I only like R&B music and rap, so I guess bands like Sterephonics, Killers, Kooks, Calling ect.

I listen to a lot of swing music as well.

Oh a lot of people on her have been surprised I'm so into Jazz aswell.

people are surprised when i say i like Nickelback,Linkin Park,Metro Station,Fall Out Boy and Simple Plan some people think i only like pop Princesses lol

Dont know about on here, but generally people just think I like dance/rave but I also like RnB and some mainstream pop eg Lady Gaga. But most surprisingly to most people I know is that I love basically all 80's music.

And most people die when i say i like westlife and i don't know why lol

People are always surprised when I say I love Marilyn Manson (he's my 6th most-played artist according to last.fm). And when I put on Jay Z's "99 Problems" the other day in a friend's car, he stopped the car and shouted "WHAT THE ****?"

I kinda listen to everything really, My favourite artists are like Muse, Patrick Wolf, Girls Aloud, Ladyhawke, Guns N' Roses, Alterbridge, Lykke Li, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bat For Lashes, Placebo, McFly (Guilty Pleasure) Daft Punk. Most of the music I like is very Indie and Rock based but I have a lot of love for pop music. It's ussually the fact people don't ussually associate me with so many different kinds of music.

I love Jazz/Blues music, especially older stuff.
I chose to listen to Blues music from like, the 20s and stuff for my GCSE Music Genre Project and have loved it since :]

Some people would be suprised to know that i actually LOVE Britney, Christina and Pink. Oh and i think people think im only into R&B and Rap at school but i do like some rockier artists like Kelly Clarkson and Scouting for girls etc.. Also still love S Club and Busted lool!

But I like alternative indie. I mean real indie. I get demo CDs from a small Californian independent label every few months or so.

I'm also into black metal... Sonata Arctica etc.

And hip-pop... Eminem, Kanye, Chamillionaire.


But yeah, my main love is alternative.
I've been called a "music perve" before, cos when a good song comes on I'm like "OH THIS IS AMAAAAAZING!"

But people are suprised when i say i like Lady Gaga,Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson.

And evan more suprised when i say i like Slipknot,Marillyn Manson,My Chemical Romance,Bullet For My Valentine,Bring Me The Horizon,Evanescence and others.

But i also listen to Jay-Z and Eminem.

I never get associated with Rap in general. Old R&B like from the 60's.
But I love them. People can't stand Eminem.... definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

I get associated with, The Killers, Bob Dylan, Damien Rice... I do adore them but GOOD,and I don't mean Rhianna, Chris Brown (LOL), Akon (Christ). R&B.
Old Rhythm and Blues. I do like that.
