This seemed more appropriate to be put in here than in General Chat or Chat and Games.

I'm about to start Eclipse tonight. It always gets better reviews than New Moon from fans so I'm pretty excited!

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 06:20 PM

OMFG.
new sig.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:21 PM

LMAO! I noticed JUST as I was about to post it!

Jen 11-04-2009 06:22 PM

Gary put them in order. :D

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:23 PM

ikr Jen, how rude of Gary!

Tom4784 11-04-2009 06:26 PM

I read the first one in the Christmas break last year, It took me like 2 days. It's a very addictive book. I need to read the other three though.

Saying that I haven't even watched the film yet.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:29 PM

The film's pretty good. I don't like how it messed a few things over though (in some cases bits of the book were completely changed :/) but I still love it.

New Moon's just as addictive imo. :P

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 06:34 PM

UGH. I will never forgive them for what they did to the Port Angeles scene in the movie.

And I don't have them in order cos of that white line on one side of Eclipse and one side of New Moon lol. I can not get rid of it.

pinkmichk 11-04-2009 06:36 PM

i'm about to start breaking dawn tonight i am hooked on the first 3 will def be reading again i found they are the type of book i can get lost in and lose all track of time with my fav in order of preference is eclipse twilight new moon i defy anyone not to like these books

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:37 PM

I know, it was pretty tacky. I'm hoping New Moon fixes it up a lot better.

You could just paint over it in black Gary lol!

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 06:38 PM

I tried that lol it only seemed to make it fade a little. I'll try again when I have more patience hehe.

Glad you liked Eclipse (and the rest!) I'm about to start it soon and can't wait. I'm really hoping its good.

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 06:41 PM

Eclipse is my second fave Mark, you'll love it. WAAYYYYYYY better than New Moon.

pinkmichk 11-04-2009 06:41 PM

eclipse is fab i am watching the film tonight with a very open mind cos all films from books never live up to the books imo which is why i read the books first before seeing the films

Jen 11-04-2009 06:43 PM

I bought twilight in hardback for my friend god knows how long ago. She has been addicted to them ever since.

I haven't read them... they don't interest me. I wish they did, I just can't get into it.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:45 PM

ty Gary/pinkmichk, should be good. The Cullens being back =!

The film is good. Hope you enjoy it. I was surprised by it, but in a good way

Why don't you watch the film to try and get into it?

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 06:46 PM

Those bastards in Blockbuster didn't have the 2 disc edition and said they wouldn't be getting it for 2 weeks so I had to order it for Amazon. Can't wait to see it again tho.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:48 PM

My dad only came home with the one disc version :( Theres literally no features on it at all apart from commentary :/ lmao

pinkmichk 11-04-2009 06:50 PM

so is everyone a cullen fan or any jacob fans?

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 06:55 PM

CULLENS FTW! I'm not a huge fan of Edward personally, but the Cullen family I LOVE. They're all really interesting imo. You?

I didn't mind Jacob in New Moon, just post-Werewolf he got on my nerves.

pinkmichk 11-04-2009 07:05 PM

i'm a cullen fan through and through and there is something about edward as well but yeah i find the whole cullen clan interesting i do like alice

yeah I saw that in there and saw that was all there was, so I decided if I was gonna buy it, I'd buy the real one lol.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 07:31 PM

Alice is awesome, I completely agree. She's my favourite Cullen (both in the film and the books). I was glad she had a bigger role in New Moon! :cheer:

LOL Gary! Wise decision.

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 07:33 PM

ALICE<33333 Love her. Espesh in the movie.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 07:35 PM

I can't wait to see her more prominant in the New Moon film<3

Ohh speaking of: I read that they were planning on adding scenes about where the Cullens (Edward more obviously) were and what they did to fill their absence in the story. Good idea imo, especially because a film with lack of Robert probably isn't the smartest thing to release.

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 07:37 PM

yeah lol the emo 12 year old girls couldn't function other wise. Plus the time when he's gone does drag on a bit. I hope they don't make it too tacky, like not too many scenes of Edward ripping up a tree in his frustration lol.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 07:41 PM

LMAO yeah, exactly! I guess it's okay Taylor is the main male focus, he does have a pretty strong female following as well. Argh same! I want some focus on the other Cullens though.

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 07:46 PM

I always thought Esme was a tragically under developed character, maybe this could be a chance to see more of her.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 07:51 PM

Yeahh! I love her maternal behaviour towards Bella<3

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 07:57 PM

"It's fine, Alice." He grinned. "They can't all be 911 Turbos."
She sighed. "I may have to acquire one of those legally. It was fabulous."

When I read that, I fell in love with her. Aside from the major 'LOL' it just cemented my love for Alice.

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 07:59 PM

ELL to that OH ELL.
She is so fierce.

MarkWaldorf 11-04-2009 08:01 PM

IKR

Hugo 11-04-2009 08:48 PM

I need to read New Moon

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 09:10 PM

go buy it then.

pinkmichk 11-04-2009 09:15 PM

has anyone seen breaking dawn in the shops i'm borrowing my friends but i'm gonna want to buy it but tesco and sainsburys only had the first 3

MrGaryy 11-04-2009 09:17 PM

I went to Easons to get the New Moon hardback, but they only had Breaking Dawn in HB. So I ended up paying 70 pounds for the boxset of all the books. It was worth it tho cos I was planning on buying all of them in HB anyway, plus now I have this cool box for them. and I got 10% off because I noticed a tear in the wrapping LOL.
