I spent the past hour singing songs to myself on garageband and am more in tune when I sing in german, strangley

I do that on garageband too... minus the german thing! :joker:

What is garageband?

an inbuilt program for mac where you can record yourself, put songs on quickly, change your voice into 'choir' 'gospel' etc in ONE CLICK! lots of celebs use it, i think Kate Nash recorded her whole first album on garageband

my imac was 850 quid, i got 100 pounds off cos i'm a student

and in the end:

1) i'm going to keep my imac for a good 3 or 4 years at least before I start thinking of upgrading
2) The speed of my imac is equivalent to the speed of a windoze computer which would be like 1000squid more!

I got a student fee, and I got my mac when I was in year 11, for my 16th burthday

I know, you don't know how tempted I was to just buy it once my bank manager (boyfriend) told me I had £400 in savings. BUT I need a notebook ideally, to take to library and stuff.

Damnit, having no money. The £400 has to last me over summer too, and I'm going to Edinburgh and things during then. Aaargh moneyyyy gimme moneyyyy.

I think I'm okay for travel money to Edinburgh if my bfs parents are taking us the same day they go, otherwise that's more money. But I'm more thinking meals and drinks and things, though I'm only there for like 3-4 days... hmm. I WILL GET THAT MAC!
