I can remember when under the 'whos online' box it actully showed you who posted the most posts of the day. I wish they brung it back :sad:

I think it took up too much server power, especially now closing in on BB time.

That box was the one of the things I missed when I came back to TiBB. I also miss the 'change your username' option in your control panel.

It was removed for two reasons. One, I think it wasted a lot of bandwidth and secondly, people kept spamming to win it.

No, Without that box we would never of known that Chewy had posted the 1,000,000 post!

It encourages bad spam-style posts by people to try and get their name on the board. If someone saw they were only 11 posts behind the person with the most posts, they would usually go and reply "yeah" to a load of topics to overtake them.

This was on the main reasons why post counts are shown as 1000+ instead of the actual number.
