housemates should do minute silence for jade

any one agree

lily. 05-06-2009 10:33 PM

um no.

hullbb 05-06-2009 10:34 PM

very blunt and to the point lili

Matt 05-06-2009 10:35 PM

I disagree. They've already done a one hour tribute show and dedicated the launch to her, that's more than enough.

ILoveFreddie 05-06-2009 10:35 PM

Well, I think they should. But it would be kinda cheesy and some housemates might not wanna.

Lewis. 05-06-2009 10:35 PM

not really. What happened, happened.

Iceman 05-06-2009 10:35 PM

No, the tribute show and piece at the end last night was enough!

No.

It's still surplus to requirements.

Originally Channel 4 said there would be no specific tribute to Jade, and they backtracked and gave her an hour-long special. That's enough.

hullbb 05-06-2009 10:40 PM

to show some respect to the most famos housemate

But they have already twice, plus this years Housemates can't talk about previous Housemates!

markmarc 05-06-2009 10:41 PM

no.
whats the point? shes been dead a few months and channel 4 have already aired a tribute tv show and they dedicated last nights launch to her

Ooh, I forgot about that. Yes, that's another downpoint - it's against Big Brother rules to talk about previous series or their participants.

They've shown more than enough respect.

Patrick 05-06-2009 10:43 PM

No just forget and move on!

I dont know why so many people are trying to act like they love her when they hated her when she ruined Big Brother in CBB5

ILoveTRW 05-06-2009 10:43 PM

the launch was in her memory, what more do you want

Cody™ 05-06-2009 10:45 PM

Certainly NOT.

=-Incognito-= 05-06-2009 10:51 PM

Hell no. That stupid lump of sin is the reason BB is in such dire straits. If anything they should be throwing a fricken party and burning effigys.

HellShark 05-06-2009 10:58 PM

Not sure about a minutes silence but I'm up for a minutes cheering.

Marsh. 05-06-2009 11:08 PM

People were on about housemates entering in silence before the series started or having a mural dedicated to her in the garden. It's taking things a bit too far. I said before the show that they would do an 'In Memory' slide at the end which they did. She was owed that and they've done it. End of. Let the woman rest in peace and stop going on about it.

Are you a 'Lost' fan? :laugh2: That saying drives me nuts.

Saph 05-06-2009 11:10 PM

Naah, it will be abit annoying if they do

You're sick.

BigBrothersBigBrother 05-06-2009 11:18 PM

I wasn't Jades biggest fan but I could never hate someone so much, other than someone like Bin Laden, that I would be happy they are dead.

Some of these comments are just not on

By the way, I don't agree they should hold a minutes silence in the house. Think that would be taking it a bit too far. Last night was a nice touch

ILoveFreddie 05-06-2009 11:21 PM

Actually I agree with the rest of you now, it's a bad idea.

hullbb 05-06-2009 11:24 PM

i missed the launch i taped it but havnt got round to watching it yet. but even so one minute silence wouldnt do no harm

lily. 05-06-2009 11:26 PM

You can't force people to respect her just because she is dead.

Chances are some of the HMs don't respect her at all, and don't care that she's dead.

I wouldn't do a minute's silence for someone I had no respect for.

hullbb 05-06-2009 11:29 PM

thats somebodys mother

lily. 05-06-2009 11:32 PM

Do you think you can say anything to make me feel differently about her?

Trust me, you can't.

Yes but, that shouldn't make a difference. . .

hullbb 05-06-2009 11:34 PM

fair doos

Violetfairy 05-06-2009 11:35 PM

I loved Jade at her best and worst she was a misunderstood lady and it was really nice of BB to dedicate the launch in her memory - it was good for Jade's family that are still grieving over their loss and I would rather remember Jade for the fun loving, bubbly person that she was rather than dwelling upon her death.

i agree, it is a shame that she has died and her kids will have to grow up without her, but it doesnt mean everyone should suddenly love her and respect her blah blah.

hullbb 05-06-2009 11:49 PM

i said jade, not charles manson or gary glitter

Rachelll 06-06-2009 01:47 AM

Apparently, they're considering, "Jade," the musical.
