Spencer is arrogent, spoilt, obnoxious, boring, self centred, smelly and puerile!

As much as my description could apply to Alex (apart from the smelly comment) this is definitely about Spencer!

I'm sorry but I really do not like him and I hope he leaves the house very very soon!

I'm not sure that I like Spencer, but he is really irreverent, and makes me laugh so keep him in I say!

If Spencer does become the group leader, all I can say is heaven help them!!!!

I like Spencer as well Big Sister and I actually think he'd make a good group leader.

At this moment, if Spencer's the leader of the house then I'm sorry they must be in one hell of a mess. I might be wrong he might surprise me, I'm still waiting for a task with a challenge. The reason that psychologists talk about Spencer being group leader is obvious to me: They are talking sh1te!

The one thing I dislike about BB is those stupid, patronising psychologists giving us their poncey opinions.

As I said earlier, Spencer is just irreverent, doesn't give a monkeys.

I just think the fact that Spencer doesnt 'give a monkeys' is just what makes him so appealing.
When he walked in, he didnt seemed phased and soooooooo excited about BB - he just got his fags out and got down to doing nothing.
He just doesnt care and I like that but hes not nasty with it.
Like when he had an argument with Lynne - she started havin a go at him and he just got up and walekd away without saying anything.
He doesnt cause tension, he doesnt like bitchin and he joins in when he wants to.
He is not on a power trip either like some ppl are crying out to be leaders, if hes given the role, he'll get on with it, if not then he wont care!!

I never thought he was weird or sinister like many people seemed to. I'm still convinced that the first few days he was very self-conscious of the cameras and never came out of his shell. He's relaxed now and I like him. :thumbs:

I like Spencer too. I know he's lazy, sleeps till lunchtime and hardly ever has a shower, but he is being himself. He doesn't bitch and I think if BB ever gets round to giving them something physical (what are the producers playing at?) he'll come into his own.

I think he would make a good leader in a task, if there is ever any sort of team to lead that is, and not just a group of not-very-pleasant individuals. :xyxwave:

I thought Spencer was so lovely when he gave his nomination for Alison and it was obvious he found it really difficult to choose a second person.

I think he is going to find it hard to come up with what Big Brother would consider 'Valid' reasons over the next few weeks cos he doesn't really dislike any of them.

Good for him, I just hope he doesn't end up getting a strike because of it. :mad:

I was really suprised that Adele Voted for Kate. I thought they were getting on well.
I wasn't so suprised about Alison being nominated. She has been getting on my nerves the last couple of days. At first I liked her but now she seems to be in your face all the time,which is a shame because she is going the opposite way to Jade. Although Jade was very noisey later this afternoon. I hope she calms down again.
Love Spencer I think he's great.
Pity Jonny wasn't nominated though.

He is such a lovely bloke, he's dead laid back, he joins in when he wants to but likes quiet time to himself as well - I think he's pretty well rounded!

I agree withwhat you said about nominations LEE, he did look like it was genuinely hard for him, and he's a pretty......well, i just absolutely love him. I have from the first night in the house (not love as in want to marry and have his babies, although I would never say never....:spin:) but love his whole attitude in general.

I realise Spencer and Kate arent a particularily popular couple choice, but I think they are sweet together: with Adele and Lee I doubt his motives, as he is now moving inon Sophie, but with Spencer and Kate I don't doubt their motives. I realise that Kate is a bit of a flirt, but I do think that she geniunely cares for Spencer.

After watching Spencer for some while I have now come to the conclusion that he is a very aggrogant, rude young man with the manners of a pig. The only thing that is good about him is that he look good and that is it. He certainly has a game plan to do nothing, he doesnot care for Kate, but she will do for the moment, as there is no one else. I have never seen him help, If he is supposed to be leader material as posted earlier, it say alot for the rest of them:elephant::dance::dance:

Surely not! How is he rude?? I think he has a good balance between being involved in the group, and having his own time, so he doesn't go mad.

I can't comment on the work he does, as I rarely watch it during the day.

However, I think he does genuinely care for Kate, his eyeshavestarted to follow her round the room (Am i the only one who's noticed?) and her eyes definately follow him....
If he was using her, he would have probably kissed her the other day in truth or dare instead of saying "I don't do tongues on TV", embarrassed.

I still fail to see what's annoying about him, I think he's lovely, certainly him, Kate and Alison (plus Jonny, probably) would be the only ones I'd want to meet on the outside.

It is very strange how people have different concepts of people, the last people I would want to meet would be Jonny, Alison and Kate . Spencer he was so rude to Sinita the night they had drinks sent in as she was leaving. He poured his self a drink and then said whats her name this was to Sunita do you want a drink towhich she said yes he then went on to ignore her, he didnt even have the respect to remember Sinitas name. He also is constantly bletching an farting with out even a pardon:elephant::dance::dance:

I like Spencer as well monie and have not noticed him being particularly rude. I don't remember the drink incident or the fact that he didn't get Sunita's name right so I can't comment on that.

I agree with glitterbabe that his laid back attitude is actually a positive thing as he is not getting involved with any of the bitching.

I must admit I'm not struck on Kate though. I liked her at first but my opinions have changed.

One thing I am finding interesting this year is all of our differences of opinion. Last year we all agreed (well mainly) and held very similar opinions on the housemates, that is not the fact this year at all and it proves how we different we all are. We might have all liked H&P last year but we don't agree on our fave housemates this time around at all. :spin2:

Why would you say he has bad hygiene?
Lot's of people have smelly feet and no matter how many times they wash them the problem is still there. Or maybe it's because he hasn't shaved. That's nothing, last year a few of the men didn't shave every day.
I think Spencer is ok and I quite like Adele, but none of them are as good as P/H.
Just my opinion of course.

Not sold on Adele at all, and I actually (I know this will be controversial, don't stone me!!) prefer Spencer's personality to Paul's. I can't put my finger on why, I just like Spencer more.

Just cos his feet are smelly doesn't mean he's dirty - my feet stink and I have a shower every morning: by about 12 o clock they are stinking again, so it's really not a hygiene problem! (Promise!)

That's all very well, but we know through watching the show that Spencer hasn't even seen the shower let alone had one!

Actually Spencer has has several showers, though prob not every day. They were actually talking about it this afternoon - just after Spencer had got out of the shower!!! - and he said he never gets up and showers on the morning at home, he prefers a shower or bath in the evening. I know someone else who said very similar to me last time I stayed with her Janette :laugh:

It is a good few days after the last post about Spencer here, so there has been even longer to watch and form an opinion on him. I neither particularly like or dislike him, but I do think the situation he has found himself in has a lot to do with the way he comes across. He is frustrated about alot of things but doesn't have it in his nature to rant on about it too much. He is a bit rude to the others especially the girls and Alex, but he does it tongue in cheek most of the time. He seems to believe in saying 'it' just like it is. I do think he is quite sexy sometimes, other times not. He is very laid back and cool and doesn't seem too bothered about what is going on around him, but without cigarettes I think his temper might come to the forefront as the situation becomes unbearable without something to calm him, which smoking obviously does. I am a non-smoker so I wouldn't know, but I can see that Spencer relies alot on being able to he enjoy a smoke so it looks very probable that he will suffer without it. Let's just hope he scores high in the task tonight and gets at least another weeks supply of tobacco to see him through.
As far as his relationship with Kate goes, well I think there is definitely an attraction between them after an initial pretending they were just mates and no more, but as time has gone on all Kate's early flirting and making the effort to be with him in the past few weeks has paid off and he is taking much more notice of her now. I am sure if they both end up on the same side of the house after tonights task we will see them getting even closer, I am sure they will definitely be sleeping in the same bed as before, so good luck to them.
