I like Noirin.. I don't think she's a user at all. She got herself into a situation that she didn't really expect and then found difficult to get out of. I genuinely think she just found it difficult to hurt Sree's feelings.

I also meant to say up there ^^ that I don't hate Sree either and I hope he doesn't go next week. He make me laugh like billy-o

Noirin did use Marcus to get at Sree, but only because he was pestering her so much and she knew it would p*** him off, which it did and caused even more trouble in the end!

Hopefully she wont stay that close to Marcus for long as that guy is really creepy!!

The trouble is... Noirin tried very hard to be tactful with Sree and she held back her true feelings whether that was not to make her look bad or trying to be respectful to Sree.However the whole situation is now frustrating her and she has become niggly and totally impatient with him because the thick idiot is unable to to show her respect in the same way.
I am not sure about Noirin yet but I do empathise with her and can see where she is coming from....and fair play to her...she didn't buckle to that interfereing bossy control freak....Lisa.

if Sree gets evicted next (very likely) then Noirín will be able to free herself from Marcus and be her true self...

I can't believe some of the responses I'm seeing here.

He harassed her. He followed her around for days on end. He touched her every three seconds. He told her he was in love with her but that he wanted to wait until he was on the outside to do anything about it (which, if nothing else, is presumptuous). He judges her. He doesn't like her having fun with others. He calls her "dumb and thick" and that she doesn't see anything but herself. He starts getting nasty with her friends. He tries to make her jealous. He interrupts her sleep time and time again to make himself feel better. He begged Big Brother to make her like him.

And now, when she's finally fed up with it and is telling him where to go, she's being vilified? She's being judged because she prefers Marcus' company to Sree's whiny, clingy, possessive and obsessive version of friendship? Where's the logic here?

So what if she's friends with someone who flirts with her. She's a big girl. She can handle herself. There's a difference between Marcus' comments and Sree's overbearing, overpowering, and overwhelming possessiveness. The girl can't breathe with him! And when she finally claws back some space, he gets nasty.

It's wrong to judge her on this. She's tried to be as friendly as possible with him and he's taken it all for granted. The girl can't win in the eyes of a lot of you!

If anyone's two-faced in this situation, it's Lisa. She's telling Sree what he wants to hear and going to Noirin and doing the same.

Well it does seem to me that she's sunk to Sree's level with the cider incident. Also, I'm not sure how to interpret todays conversation with Marcus - 'We'll only talk to each other when we're sad'???
To me it seems that she is deliberately getting back at Sree by trying to make him jealous, which is just as bad as Sree's dancing with Dogface today.

How is having a playful conversation about what she would do for a can of cider -- and then stating she wouldn't actually lower her integrity in such a way -- sinking to Sree's level? How is it even in the same universe as Sree's level? She was having a playful, flirty conversation with a male friend. We've all done it (at least I have). It had nothing to do with Sree. He wasn't even there to start with! She had no hidden agenda there.

And Marcus said, "I don't just want us to talk when we're sad. I want to talk to you because I like you." Or something similar.

She's not flirting to get back at Sree. She's making a point. She's not interested in him.

That's a little bit coincidental, after being so stressed out all that day by Sree...

Yeah but is she interested in Marcus, it's very hard to believe?

Oh and as far as the cider incident is concerned I know what I saw and, bearing in mind that we are talking about pervy Marcus, it was rank (& I say that as a 21 yr old girl who did actually like Noireen in the first place)!

Tonights highlights show : Sree calls Noirin stupid and thick, then when Lisa leaves the garden, he looks up into the sky and asks his god for help, presumably to win over her love.

Pathetic. The man needs a good slapping down a dark alley.

Mercury, you're reading far too much into it. Imagine yourself in her shoes for one minute. She's trapped in that house with Sree and his obsession. Just imagine it.

I'm not reading too much into it, I'm discussing a topic on an internet forum, and have put forward an opinion which when under fire, I have defended.

Oh and for the record, I do sympathise with her, I just think she stooped to his level by flirting with Marcus!
