Men Hitting Women!!!
 

On saturday night me and my mates went out clubbing, like we usually do.


At the end of the night we split into 2 groups because some of us wanted food.

All the guys went home, while me and 4 of the girls went to the Kebab shop.


But before we got to the shop these two 28 y/o guys started shouting abuse at us and frontin us.


I tried to get the girls to keep walking, and stood in front of them. As I tried to walk away one punched me in the head.


It hurt, but I can deal with a punch. However, they then proceeded to hit 3 of my female friends.

One ended up with a brokn wrist, and another, who is the kindest, sweetest and most gentle soul I have ever met got punched straight in the face and now has to have an op on her jaw.


Luckily the police arrived just after this happened and it's all on CCTV and they arrested the vile men that did this.


It annoyed me even more to then find out that they were Marines!!!!


I'm sorry but what the HELL???

One you don't hit women, especially ones that are doing nothing and are trying to get away.


Two, Marines should know better, and I really hope that they get suspended from serving in the Marines for this.

Sorry, rant over, it just annoys me because the girls did nothing and now have to deal with serious injuries because two marines can't handle their alcohol and have anger issues. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Idiots. People like that who can't handle drink should be strung up. And they should realise that if they are gonna get like that they should not drink in the first place. Alcohol is much worse than some other drugs and yet it is legal for idiots like this. It's idiotic twats like this out on binges that screw things up for others.

The one that broke her wrist has bounce back fine.

But the one who has to have an op on her jaw, I'm concerned. She never comes out, she's really pretty and sweet, but really, really shy and intimidated easily, and I'm worried that this will make it worse.

i have strong views over men hitting women having been there myself
it is shocking even more so cos they are technically in a position of power which they have abused so i hope proper action gets taken on them
men should not hit women they are vile excuses for men but the fact it was for no reason except they were drunk:mad:
i really hope it doesnt affect your friends too much the police dealing with it should make sure they have support

well I got to go give a statement today at the police station so I'll keep you informed of what happens to the 2 men that did this to my friends.

personally i feel the same about men hitting women as i feel about women hitting men. I don;t feel gender should play too large a role in situations like this.

A woman in Malaga gave me a black eye, but I still didn't hit her, I just drowned her in sticky vodka and red bull and poured an ashtray filled with the brim on her.

Hitting anyone irrespective of gender is a criminal offence, unless the person being hit is a child, in which case you can knock seven bells out of them and call it lawful chastisement - Go figure.

Any hue the idea that men can hit women, allegedly supported once by Sean Connery, goes back to the day when wives were considered as goods and chattels, and the husband was expected to use force to keep their wife in line, and wives accepted that.

Remember how police would dismiss many an assault with in the marital relationship as "Just a domestic" as if it was to be expected and that if a wife got beaten up, then she must have done something to deserve it.

There still is an attitude that I have seen on the net, that women must be kept in their place by men, bye use of physical force. Some will even try and give Biblical sanction by referring to some passages yet ignoring others and context.

In this case if they were marines you need to find out if they are to be tried in a civillian course or by courts marshall

That happened us outside a club and the bouncers did nothing, the next week the club was closed, hasn't opened since and that was a good 6 months ago. The Police came and wouldn't take any statements or get the blokes that did it. Hate people who hit women.

My ex was a DJ in a local club so I spent half my life clubbing, well the amount of army blokes who would come in beat the carp out of anyone they fancied (including women) was shocking.

After seeing one bloke drop kick a girl in the face after putting her bloke into a coma I went home and stayed there for a solid year. It was a pretty dark time. His excuse was he used to be fine, but suffered a lack of oxygen whilst diving. Oh thats ok then. STAY HOME THEN.

I hate this topic, I hate the whole 'men hitting women zomg.' Men get slapped by women everyday on TV, yet it is not even frowned upon, but if a man hit a woman it would be made into this HUGE domestic abuse storyline with the press clinging onto it. If a woman hit me I'd hit her back twice as hard. Don't give something you don't expect back.

The point of this thread is though mate, my female friends did NOTHING to deserve being punched!

Then surely the gender of your friends and the people who hit them is irrelevent? Thread should be renamed "drunken knobheads"?

Mummy told me if someone hits me hit them back else you'll be a pushover. Its never failed that bit of advice :angel:

First off, if i got punched square in the face by a woman, i wouldn't just do nothing, but i wouldn't punch her back in the face. I would try to restrain her etc and if she kept hitting me and i wasn't in the wrong then yes i woul d punch her back. Violence is not the answer but you shouldn't let people walk all over you.
