Tom: What An Utter Twat

Anyone who spends that much time on their body and is not also an olympic athlete is quite simply a vain twat.

He looks utterly ridiculous...like someone has pumped him full of air. Dull, predictable, vain, self-obsessed bore.

Daffodil 19-07-2009 09:33 AM

I am not a muscles fan myself. I truly don't like that look. Humour and intelligence count for an awful lot.

Chuckyegg 19-07-2009 09:34 AM

He actually makes marcus appear a lot less slimey.

setanta 19-07-2009 09:55 AM

yeah, i think that it's just too much. toned body is great but that's just ridiculous. i think stuart had the perfect body.... it was muscular but also looked athletic. this fella just looks like he'll fall over from a massive heart attack in his 50's

Rozartytype 19-07-2009 09:59 AM

Maybe a few too many steroids perhaps?

Rollerrd 19-07-2009 10:02 AM

I bet he has a small willy.

BJ 19-07-2009 10:02 AM

I think his body is great and he's got a lovely voice. His eyes just look a bit to near together for my tastes.

A perfect specimen of a man IMO:love:

kittycat 19-07-2009 10:14 AM

i think his body is his and its his choice weather he wants huge muscles or not an its probably a plus for him cause hes prob really healthy im not gonna judge him on the fact that he has muscles

setanta 19-07-2009 10:19 AM

oh i don't begrudge him a good body.... just think its obsessive when you get to the stage he's gotten to. that kinda body is only achieved through hours and hours in gym each day plus the odd dose of steroids- think he's an addict

saraholeila 19-07-2009 10:43 AM

He looks ridiculous, like those typical cartoons of muscly big jawed dumb guys. No time for him.

dbfs 19-07-2009 10:44 AM

surely you should think the same about dog face then who spends on that money on falst tits!!!!!!!

Do we know he's used steroids. He says he not a clubber. Perhaps he prefers the gym. Lots of them in there are obsessed with their looks one way or another

setanta 19-07-2009 10:55 AM

i've never drew any comparison between him and the other contestants. just kinda think that he's gone overboard with the muscles..... bodybuilders become addicted to it. i think it's an obsessive thing for him.

Daffodil 19-07-2009 11:19 AM

Will be funny to see him maintaining his muscles working out, while Marcus watches :)

RAS 19-07-2009 11:32 AM

So people who go to the gym and look after their body are t**ts?....I think not.

Stephen927 19-07-2009 11:35 AM

Weightlifting is a hobby.. I don't think his muscles look particularly good but fair enough if thats what he wants to do with his spare time.

Exactly.
People usually do it so they are happy about their body, usually its nothing to do with anyone else.

And funny how most of the the people who dont like him are just eh?

Little jealousy there?

He has good genetics to does Tom.

DrunkerThanMoses 19-07-2009 11:37 AM

I disliked him from the start... like i did with Kris and Lisa.. and look how they turned out!

FFS the guy wanted to play professional rugby but got an injury in his back!!!!, he probably likes to look after himself by eating a good diet going to the gym etc LIKE MOST PEOPLE DO, why does that make him vain or obnoxious? i think you need to get of your high horse and stop judging people so harshly when you know f all about them.

suttin 19-07-2009 11:43 AM

you dont get that big/ripped without doing a few cycles of steroids. Fact.
His body tho...his choice.

It is possible to get that big/ripped without steroids.

At the same time it is likely that Tom has done a few cycles.

setanta 19-07-2009 11:48 AM

i don't dislike him...don't think anything about him yet. just think it's a bit too much on the muscle front unless he's competing for some prize. that kinda build requires hours each day in the gym... hours and hours. that's a bit obsessive. everything in moderation.

Speedy 19-07-2009 11:50 AM

Sounds like a hell of a lot of jealous people hear. It takes dedication to get a body like that, unlike Dogface who pays a surgeon 10k to shove them in.

Yeah id conceed that he has probably done gear before.

Not a problem though, like you said, his body..

setanta 19-07-2009 11:59 AM

he's a heart attack waiting to happen when he gets a bit older. that's the worry. everything in moderation.... toned and strong is good but he's overdone it

Being fat and having a **** diet = heart attack waiting to happen.

Being "toned and strong" does not = heart attack waiting to happen.

Robertocarlo 19-07-2009 12:02 PM

A delicious man in my eyes. I like him, not just the body but he appears to be a genuinely nice bloke to me.

30stone 19-07-2009 12:04 PM

People always talk like they know everything about weightlifting and steroids.
When they have done neither.

its a well known fact that body builders suffer from weak hearts as they get older, due to the stress that that much added weight puts on them.

HELLIWONTGO 19-07-2009 12:05 PM

who cares about a heart attack?
We all got to go one day better that than of old age pizzing himself and dribbling!

Doesn't mean its just weighting to happen,

You get weightlifters living generally as long as anyone else, especially if they stay natty.

Your talking out ya arse, though really, aren't you come on admit it?

I mean if you compair a Bbuilder to the average British Male, he's got a great chance of living longer due to his diet, and his exercise recheem. Putting pressure on your heart is what make's a person's heart strong not week. or else would we not all be sitting on our arses watching telly all day, so's not to pressure the old ticker. Oh that's right most people do sit on their arses, getting all agreaved at people like Tom and his fit inshape, body. Naughty Tom.

Mutteroo 19-07-2009 12:16 PM

So far his muscles appear massively bigger than his personality. Hope there is more to him but he's playing his cards so close to his inflated chest that it's impossible to see them.

Chuckyegg 19-07-2009 12:19 PM

he's taking something that's made him look 41

I agree, if he wants to exercise till kingdom come, I say let him! If his personality is S*** then yes let's call him a t**t.

OP- don't hate, appreciate....

there's a huge difference between exercising and keeping fit to purposely putting on more and more weight through weights. it has to be in moderation otherwise you most definitely put added pressure on ur heart.

i never compared him to your average joe- i'm just saying that the facts are there about weighlifters and premature death due to heart failure. as you get older that added weight is bound to cause problems..... muscle is far more dense than fat..... weighs more.

Prole 19-07-2009 12:36 PM

Wow... there's a lot of hate being directed at Tom because he's got a great body. I don't think he's the sharpest pencil in the box, but If he wants to stand in the gym for three hours every day I'm perfectly happy to look at the results of that. And as for all the "experts" on here spouting doom and death... you're funny. There's Dogface with plastic implants sewn into her t1ts, talking about getting botox while eating processed sugar from the bowl with a spoon and you're worried about Tom!! Hilarious...

setanta 19-07-2009 12:40 PM

i'm not worrying about him.... i'm just saying that he doesn't do it just to keep fit- there's major vanity and obsessional behaviour involved with that kind of body building. do you realise what kinda stuff he has to ingest everyday to grow like that? puts huge strain on the heart and it'll catch up with him. i'm all for staying fit and healthy but it has to be in moderation.

IsleOfWeather 19-07-2009 12:45 PM

If people like him, sophie and karly invested the money and time on educating themselves just think what interesting peeps they could be?
