i cant choose cos they all annoy me on equal levels and they seem to be appearing more and more what happened to talking/typing properly

None of them "annoy" me, actually. I just don't particularly understand the use of 'ikr' or 'ifkr' most of the time cos it doesn't really correspond, but then again, same happens with 'lol'.

Because they are overused and meaningless.

I voted Ohai purely because I do say the other sometimes,lol. I say OMG all the time but I think that's the worst I do.

People use abbreviations in everyday life. The ones listed in this thread aren't even too bad (bar maybe ohai which isn't an abbreviation). "OK" is an abbreviation, yet overlooked. Same with "lol".

Yeh they are overused but calling people 'babe' and telling you love them can mean nothing. It doesn't need to mean anything serious. Friends say "I love you" to each other, in a friends way. You don't need to create a new argument.

I just get a little weirded out by it.
